Tonight's American Idol (Birmingham AL) tryouts had a young gal with 6 feet of hair.  Her mother's hair was nearly as long!  Both had beautiful hair.  Her voice was very pretty as well.  Unfortunately she did not make thru to Hollywood.

Yeah, I saw that last night too.  Both the mother and daughter had beautiful hair and I thought the daughter (contestant) had a nice voice.  Although, I'm sure if she would had made it through they probably would've tried to give her a make over and suggest that she cut her hair.

I don't think they would make her cut her hair - it would part of her "look" - her signature.  The judges seemed to like the hair.  Too bad the daughter didn't make it through.  I bet if she had sung a more contemporary song she might have made it.

I was thinking the same thing.  She's young though, she can always try again next year.
