I've been trying for ages to find a pic or pics of Sonny and Cher when their hair was at its longest. I think it might have been when Cher flicks Sonny's hair whilst they were singing some line about "Your hair's too long....?"

Or just Cher's hair alone but I've still not found anything....

Anyone know where I could look ?

Iwas a big Sonny & Cher fan when I was a kid.  I even had a Cher doll with all that lovely hair!  I checked around and found this pic:

I think Sonny is at it longest in this shot.  God, there soooo young there!

I've no idea how long her hair eventually was in the end but I think I might have seen it just above classic length ? The other reason is that apart from Crystal Gayle she probably had the second longest singer's hair I'd ever seen at the time.

So sad about Sonny too wasn't it ? Cher was very upset for a long time though hadn't they fallen out by then ? I never knew the reason why - did you ? Even so I still like to think they'd be singing successfully today as there seems to be some many impersonating acts nowadays. And didn't Sonny become all political in the end  ?

I'm sure there've been many other duos since then with long hair but sadly I've lost touch completely.... :-/

I would guess that their combined hair length was greater than in Lisabelle's photo but the proportion on each head was different!

That's a great video clip!  It includes a nice shot of Cher's hair.  

Funny - I have always remembered Cher as having exceptionally long hair, yet every picture I checked out today, none of them are as long as I remembered.  I guess it makes me realize how long my hair is and that my hair has reached those lengths that I have always considered extra long.

No problem! :) Yes it was so sad about Sonny.  I remember Cher speaking at his funeral service.  I could tell she still loved him even though they were not together anymore.

That was great and just as I remember them thank you !!  :)

Funny thing I also thought Cher's hair was much longer as well as I always remember how heavy and swinging it was. Perhaps that's the false impression one gets of extra length ?

I always felt she was very aware of it all the time too, you could see Sonny was !! ;D
