Title: Wavews and More Waves?
Post by naturegirl on Feb 18th, 2007 at 10:22am
I have sarted to notice that the longer my hair gets the more wavy it gets? Is this a normal thing? I hav not had curly hair since i was a small child and I had a head full oof curls, but it was also, dark black? Not the originall color I ended up with as I grew up? Anyone have any ideas? I usually have some wave, but it is getting wavier? naturgirl  :-?

Yep, its not uncommon for wave to develop with length.  I, too was a curly kid with different hair color.  At birth I looked like I had no hair the color was so fair.  Then my hair became a beautiful dark auburn.  Then it became light blonde and I am now a dark blond.

I wore my hair layered for a long time 'cause no one around me knew how to treat curly hair.  I have a really strong wave now on all of my hair except the top layer.  For many years I have been told that the top layer is straight as an arrow-turns out that's not true.  At my current length I have fair wave on top, which I encourage with the curly girl routine, gel and scrunching.

My hair developed waves as it got longer.  The underside is the waviest, but I have waves on the top as well.  Allowing my hair to dry naturally and without combing it produces the most waves.
