Do you have favorite products to use on your hair? I LOVE grapeseed oil.  I find it moisturizing without being too heavy/greasy. I also like to make my own herbal concoctions.
What are your favorite hair accessories? I love to wear bandanas or pretty hair jewelry

A couple of years ago I grew my hair out to waist length.  Unfortunately I have a tendency to get bored with my hair, so I cut it off into a chin-length bob about a year and a  half ago. I  missed my long hair and am growing out again.  I'm currently nearing BSL, and that is my first goal.  Not sure if I'll go to waist again, or maybe somewhere in between, but I am enjoying the journey!  Bikerbraid, thank you so much for the welcome, and I look forward to being a part of this community.  :)

Welcome Firefly!  I mix my own concoctions,too.  Maybe we can swop or compare recipes?  I also make vegan lip balm.  My last creation was coffee chocolate mint vegan lip balm.  Smelled great and felt great,too! :)

Thanks for the welcomes, all!  Yes, I really DON'T want to get bored again!  But I think  this time will be different... I'm going to keep a hair journal and very specifically talk about what I didn't like about the short hair cut.  Not to mention once I've put my journey to pen, it will be harder to forget all the hard work of growing out!

WOW curlgirl64... coffee chocolate mint lip balm... that sound fantastic!  I've never made any lip balms with coffee, but now you've inspired me!  I look forward to swapping some concoctions.   :)

Unfortunately, I too know the pain that goes along with cutting waist length hair short. Seems like it's going to take forever to get it back to that length, doesn't it? I am also almost at BSL, but my first goal is 2 feet.

Anyway, may the hair gods bless you on your journey to longer lengths.

Hi Firefly!!  :)  Excited to hear what you're going through..I'm at shoulder length in the back and chin length in the front..tempted to cut it all to chin length. :-?
