Title: Addictive Kitty Treats!
Post by La Diosa on Feb 19th, 2007 at 12:35am
Okay, I'm now totally convinced that my Whiskas Temptation kitty treats must contain small amounts of crack cocaine!  First of all, I cannot leave the the package out.  I have to keep the package in the cupboard at all times or my cats will somehow find them and rip the bag open to get at the treats.

Since they know that the package is in the cupboard, they will sometimes linger in the kitchen meowing at and scratching the cupboard.

I also can't leave the treats in the pocket of their stroller either because they have somehow learned how to get the treats out of there as well.  Here I was typing and heard my cats up to something, I turned around only to see my youngest kitty running with the flapping bag hanging from her mouth.  It appeared that she was trying to get it to a secure location so that she could work on getting it open.  I litterally had to chase her all over the apartment in order to retrieve the bag.  I couldn't believe she was actually running from me!

So for any of you with cat's, if you have no problem with your kitties developing addiction problems get these treats!  But be sure to keep them in a safe place. ;)

BTW, they're also good to use as rewards if you decide to train your kitties.  I've trained my cats to jump through hoops, to come when called, and to jump "up" and "sit" on a stool with the assistance of these treats.  Very cool party tricks! :)
