Title: Only I could mess up a perfectly good dream...
Post by rodent on Feb 26th, 2007 at 6:53pm
Ha, I thought I had it made. I won the lottery. All six numbers... I was happy.

So I head on down to cash in my ticket....

"Sorry, Sir, you have a wrong number. You didn't win the grand prize. You only have 5 numbers. You only win 29,000.

ARGGHHHH!

At this point I woke up. Only I could screw up a good dream of winning the lottery and turn it into a nightmare. I have no idea where the 29K number came, but I was so mad.

:(

oh, poor rodent.  I'm so sorry your dream did not have the happy, exciting ending you thought you were heading towards.   How much would you have won if you had ALL the numbers?? ;D

Don't know, but would have been enough that I didn't have to wake up and go to work that morning. (Possibly the whole reason for the dream?)

Anyway, I had another. This time I found myself in a box with dim gold lights, soft music and a bubbling water sound. These things were meant for me to go into a deep sleep. BUT.... I realized what was really happening...

I was BURIED ALIVE! I woke up and didn't bother going back to sleep after that one!

Yes, the dreams are getting active again, and weirder...

$29K is still a lot of change, Sir Rat.  ;)

Perhaps your "buried alive" dream was another indication that you weren't looking forward to work?

Well, at least the 5 numbers that you typically play didn't hit the one time that you didn't buy a ticket.  That happened to my husband just a few weeks ago.  I believe he said the prize for 5 numbers would've been 10,000.00.  I was disappointed but also so happy that we didn't lose out on millions!

Burried Alive!  I wouldn't have gone back to sleep after that one either! ;)
