I really like snow. This year, we have had too little of it, but yesterday it snowed, and until this morning (when everything melted away), Galadriel's Dramatic Snowmen adorned our yard.

Front Yard: Run, Mabel, RUN!

Back Yard: Drama at the Sea

Three Snowmen were rowing peacefully, when suddenly they noticed a huge MONSTER rising from the deep...

Two Snowmen were completely frozen of terror! (Which isn't so bad, if you are a SNOWman...), one decided to take his chances and try to swim to safety...

It seems that he may have escaped the monster's immediate attention...

...if the Great Monster of the Abyss is not particularly hungry today...

Ah, so that's why Nessie isn't always visible in Loch Ness...she sometimes visits Finland!!! ;D

I love them! When I was in college we had a couple of years of heavy snows. We would have "snowmen" contests. These "snowmen" became works of art - the art majors at our school would really get into the sculpting and would even fill water bottles with colored water and spray their sculptures to give them great color. It was always sad to see them melt away in the spring.
