My nieghbor "A" lost went phsyco today.  He misplaced his house keys and blamed me and "K" (the other tenate) saying we where now going to steal his stuff and car.  I think A had a nervous breakdown.  He had me in tears screaming what a thief I was, then when K came home he accused him and tryed to attack him!  That was it!  So I called the cops, they showed up and straigtned it all out.  A said he was sorry and all.  He even had started a fight with our landlord, of whom, is a hot head himself.  I am so drained from all this, I think I'll have a bath and go to bed. :-[

Lisabelle, what a terrible thing to have to endure. You should never be submitted to a sensless screaming from anyone. So how long has A lived next to you? Couldn't have been too long as ovbiously he does not know you.

Thank you Rodent, I'm still a bit shaken.  A has lived downstairs for about five years.  I was very upset and a bit scared as A is a big guy who works out and has a drug problem.  His has cause one person to move out already.  The person arcoss from him "K"  hates his guts and wishes he would move.  Me, I try to get along with everyone.  I feel sorry for A as he's in need of help that he not getting.

Yikes!  I'm so sorry you had to endure the rantings of a lunatic!  If he does steroids, be very careful of him-I'm glad you called the cops so they will have a record of the altercation.

I hope you can relax and be free of your fear-its over now.

This is something your landlord needs to take care of.  You should not have to endure such abuse.  It is absolutely correct that the police should have been called and a paper trail begun.  

It might be easier and faster for your landlord to act than the police.  I am sure there is something in the lease that will let the landlord evict him.  If there needs to be a paper trail, the police reports can become part of it.  

You and the other tenants can get together and say to the landlord, "Look, we have the right to live without worrying about being screamed at and abused.  We want you to do what is necessary to keep us safe."  

I know that where I am from there are not as many tenant rights as in other states.  But you have rights as well as he.  If he shapes up, great, you've gotten what you want.  But your landlord needs to begin the paper trail now in case he doesn't.  

Sorry to hear of your difficulties Lisabelle. It's never easy when you have to live close to strangers as I remember myself.

Is it hard to find somewhere where you can be more private and get away from it once and for all ?

:( >:(oh Lisabelle!  I'm so sorry that you had to be exposed to that nut!!  I know you have had continious problems with him.  You don't need it,for sure.  If he is working out and doing steroids,be very careful of him.  There's paranoia,anger,nervousness and a whole lot of other things that can lead to "roid rage".  I'm sure that you've experienced some of them already,unfortunately.  Take care of yourself and hopefully there is enough of a paper trail or incidences that the landlord will evict him.

Hi Lisabelle, I am sorry you had to experience something like that  :(.  If he is on steroids or any other drug, please be careful.  No telling what can be on his mind.  I will pray for your safety.  Maybe the land lord can help/maybe make him move or something.  Take a nice warm bath, make some hot cocoa, and relax.  The weekend is here.

Thank you everyone for your support.  You are the best ladies and gentleman ever!  ;) I had my bath and then got to bed at 1:00am.  

 A apologied today.  My landlord and 'K' were there.  A said that he's that way because people say things about him that are untrue and start trouble. http://smilies.sofrayt.com/aiw/glare.gif  I said not everyone is that way, dispite if you think that the whole world is out to get you, I am not.  The landlord had come by to make sure there was no more problems and if there is so much as a pee out of A is is being evicited.  Funny how these things happen.  It sounds like a school yard fight of childern when its really a  40 year old and a 50+ year old being attacked my by a 44 year old. Maddness......  But I'm happy it over. :)
