Title: Weightless long hair in a spaceship Post by Arcadian on May 18th, 2007 at 1:42pm
Would weightlessness make long hair care easier ? Finger combing, split ends......?

Very cool picture! I'm sure if hair care would be easier or not. I would think that is could tangle easily and might be harder to comb. But since I doubt I'll ever be in space, I'll probably never find out first hand! ;D

that is quite cool looking! I'd just be worried my hair would tangle in some sort of machinery or something, and cause the shuttle to crash!

Hmm. Since space ships/stations are very cramped, I think the hair would have to be secured to the head.
Also, washing long hair in space might be difficult...but then, so is taking care of your personal hygiene in general. |

Can you just imagine how beautiful kneelength hair would be floating in zero gravity? I know how beautiful long hair is underwater flying everywhere! Long haired mermaids have always been a fantasy of mine.
