Actually, I didn't think the girl narrating this was fat at all. She was quite cute.

She even had long hair.  :D

Personally, I have the same problem finding clothes for tiny people as she does for big people. I want to know what stores she's going into and finding sizes 2, 4, etc. because they certainly don't have them where I live!  ::)

I like the message too and I also didn't think she looked even close to "moderately obese". :o  The part that struck a chord with me was what she said about not waiting to live your life until you are thinner or in better shape.  I think most women suffer with that issue, I know I do.  The other day I ordered size 8 jeans from Venus catalog and nearly had a coronary because I've never worn a size 8 anything before but like she said, so what!  I know I get way too hung up on sizes.

Angel Spun, most stores carry smaller sizes nowdays.  The Limited,  Ann Taylor, Express, Victorias Secret, Guess... I honestly can't think of any stores that don't.  Victorias Sectret even carries a size 0.

Perhaps they carry small sizes in your area, La Diosa....but not mine. Most common size you'll find out this way is a size 6 or a Medium. Petite sizes don't work because they're designed for a different body type.

Like you, I pretty much special order everything anyway. I can't stand most of what chain stores carry.  ;)

That's pretty odd.  I've shopped in lots of cities accross the country and I've always been able to find small sizes, but the only city I've ever been to in California is LA.

Special ordering is better anyway, chain stores never have much of a variety.
