Title: Greetings to all
Post by Yetti on Jul 8th, 2007 at 11:04pm
Greetings,I am new here, just registered. Why,because here there is a forum that deals with us males and our desire for long hair, but I hope to find much more besides as hair is hair regardless of the sex that wears it.

I love well kept and presented long hair,be that male or female, but have to admit I do particularly like the darker shades.

My hair, well at the moment as my nic suggests is a bit wild,I am in that transitional phase between short and long, about five inches long, which really irritates as I cannot do much with it.

It's description, well it is dark brown,(apart from a single streak of grey down the left hand side),thick and uncontrollable,it tangles easily which would be due to the curls and rain sends it all curly.I have had it long before, mid back length, even then despite tidying,it always looked tangly and tangled within a moment without me touching it,which is one of the reasons I cut it short,to no4 length.

Products, well in the past I tried hot oils, but on a day to day basis,it was children's detangling spray and washing with mild shampoo and Pantene conditioner for greasy hair.

Now I tend to use products from 'Lush',primarily because it was my belief that perhaps the chemical products aided in my hair being awry.Memories of 'Fructis',ugh,it sent my hair sticky and the wasps kept following me.

Greetings to you, Yetti. And welcome aboard.

Try not to get discouraged. I've had to grow my hair out from scratch as well after a dreadful colouring incident. And my hair wasn't much longer than yours when I started over.

Your hair actually sounds rather nice, from your descripton. And you seem committed to growing it again, so hang in there. The waiting is the hardest part, you know.  ;)  It's a journey, not a destination. Try to stay in that perspective. There are lots of tips and info here that may help you along the way.

Best of luck and happy growing.
