Title: morrocco method
Post by joeydog 1992 on Jul 22nd, 2007 at 6:37pm
Hmm, looked at this (and for those that have not http://morroccomethod.com/lunar.shtml#retarding)

Ok, I get about how using this chart is supposed to help with hair growth.  I am curious though...what am I supposed to be doing to "beautify, strengthen, thicken my hair and for root work"?  Can anyone tell me?

Thanks for sharing that link!  I think that if you keep doing your good hair care you will contribute regularly to create beautiful, strong, thick hair with a healthy root.

My next trim is September 11th, I'm going to try the chart out next time.  I am getting brow & lip wax on one of the retard days-I hope it works.

I use their shampoo! Well..I *did* use their shampoo before I stopped using shampoo... haha
BEWARE THE SEA ESSENCE SHAMPOO. It is HARSH AS HECK. I'm not saying that it is different to some people's scalps and not to others, I mean that it is ABRASIVE and DRYING to hair. SO please be careful, I do not recommend that particular shampoo to anyone.
The AIR ESSENCE is the next one that I ordered, and have not tried it since I returned my rawfood.com package (with the shampoo and conditioner with hydrolyzed protein) and ordered, instead, Terressentials hair wash/mud in Lavender.
Personally I think that lunar Phase chart is a bunch of hooey. I realize a lot of things in nature do things for our bodies, but I doubt the moon does anything for our hair, even though it does many things to bodies of water, plants, and animals. If I experience it personally, I'll change my perspective. Maybe the lunar thing could be right, but that is just my supposition that it is not.

Yaku, again we see eye to eye.  I don't really buy it.  Heck, if you look at the chart it doesn't make sense in my opinion.  I mean, the moon works on a less than monthly basis but the chart indicates times for cutting are every 2 months!!!  Heck, even dates (as in Calander dates) changed in the time of Ceasar from using the moon to a pattern.  If it hadn't, about every 20 years (guessing, not a math person) we would have winter in 'July" since we would be on a lunar calander...not a scientifically based calender based on the position of the sun/earth!!  lol, funny I should chose July since it was named after Julius Ceasar...which brings me to the point that without the Roman change in our calander, we would not even have the months named as we do!!  Hence...July would not exist so it would be hard to say if the same time frame would have been winter or summer!
