Title: The weirdest thing you ever said to somebody? Post by Kiraela on Aug 30th, 2007 at 9:15pm
Okay, I got to thinking about it recently, What's the weirdest thing you've ever said to someone to make them leave you alone? whether it be simply annoying you, or flirting with you, whatever... What'd you do?
ME: Junior year of high school, I had this pretty mood ring that had a pattern of triangles on it, well, one day I was chewing on it(don't ask) and the plastic, color changy part broke off. It turned out, it was a nice silvery color for the metal, and the enamel part was black. this is important later. Anyway, one day this jerk kept hitting on me with such lines as "come on, you're a goth girl.. all goths are freaky in bed, right?" Yeah. classy guy. Anyway, I happened to have the ring on my left ring finger at the time. I held it up to show him. "I'm sorry, I can't. I'm a priestess of Elaphindarsis, the god of triangles, cheese, and jealousy, and he wouldn't like me sleeping around on him." What's sad is he believed me and appologized for angering my god. But he did leave me alone, so... I guess I win? |

I have had people bug/bother me but I guess I am more of the silent type so I am usually too afraid to say anything at all ::)
So, I just put up with it and hope they just leave me alone or just leave all together. But, now that I remember it. A guy in high school starting making fun of how I talk. I'm not the fastest talker and I guess some people would say I do talk slow but it's not like plastic surgery where I can talk faster :o Anyway, I got pissed and I slammed him against the chalk board and I got right in his face and said, "I don't talk slow so just shut up!" And after that he never did say that ever again 8-) But I can't remember if he was nice to me or not? I do have a temper but luckily it only comes out if I am extremely angry kind of like The Incredible Hulk and when it does come out, watch out (just ask my first wife). Jerry |

Jerry - You sound alot like my hubby. He's the strong quite type who only lets out the"beast" whe he's really pissed and that takes alot!
Once some twit was bugging me at the store I use to work at, he was trying to sell something to me. I was ignoring him as I was working with a real customer. So I turned and told him off in three languages! He looked mystified and left! Hehhhe! |

lol Good stories K and Lisabelle.
This is probably a loaded question for me because I say weird things every day. ::) There isn't any one thing in particular that stands out. One thing that I have always wanted to try, though, is responding to the unwanted attention entirely in French, even if it was random nonsense, like a comment on the weather. As for K's inquisitive...er, "gentleman," had he been brash enough to ask me the same question, I probably would have said something like, "I guess you'll never know," and walked away. |

I used to be shy and quiet in school but now I am more outgoing and more vocal. I still don't like big crowds but I am more willing to be in them than I used to be. I guess I have also learned to stand up for myself than I did when I was a kid. But, I still let some things and some people get away with stuff they probably should not ::) Jerry |

I'm pretty quiet as well so I usually keep my mouth shut, look annoyed, and think of a snappy comeback afterward. :P

Me I start with a look that could break a mirror. My Dad was like that. One look and you shut up. I do this with my neice when she is acting up. I use to be shy but as I got older I got bolder, not meaner though. It also helps with training the dog as well. ::)

Is that anything like 'if looks could kill'?
I gave that look to one of my co-workers because he was trying to say bad things about the Denver Broncos >:( Jerry |

Ohh, I'm known for that look too... "k.'s evil death glare..."
*snerk* My senior year of high school I noticed that people often took one look and me and sort of... scurried away. I was like, WTF? my hair isn't THAT bad today... Eventually my friend took pity on me and explained that it's because my "neutral" face is... sort of evil. not angry, or upset, or anything, just... evil. Imagine that, with the full brunt of a DEATHGLARE behind it. *HEE* Yeah, I found out a couple of days ago that apparently I was frequently referred to as "that satan girl". :-/ I'm really not evil, I swear! *innocent look* |

I have met people that look like that ;D
But I found out that once I talked to them they are not as mean as they look 8-) So, don't judage a look by its cover ::) Or is it don't judge a book by its cover? he, he Jerry |
