Good evening everyone! I've read many of your posts and let me just say that they are all so informative and you all seem so kind and helpful.
My hair right now is a tiny bit over 7 inches (not very long... haha) It does grow about 3/4 inch a month so I am extremely lucky! I am *beginning* to figure things out regarding this new method of "not" shampooing (hehe) and ACV etc (which I have not tried yet and I have no clue how to ACV rinse, etc...) I did just order some terressentails because I have heard wonderful things, so I'll let you know how that goes! K i ramble.. haha I am in Minnesota and going to the Aveda institute for esthiology in December. To para-quote Merlin... 'Grow hair grow!!" |

Welcome to LL!
About the ACV rinse, a little goes a long way. I use about two tablespoons diluted in two cups of water. I put the rinse in a squirt bottle, put about half of it on my scalp, add more water to the bottle to dunk the rest of my hair, and then pour the remainder all over in case there were any spots I missed. After waiting a couple of minutes I rinse it out. ACV rinses can be quite drying, so I wouldn't do it more than once a week. HTH! |

Welcome, Yaku.. I hope you love it here! With that growth rate, you'll be in the guypunzel category sooner than you know it!

hehe guypunzel :D Thank you for the warm welcomes. I will try the ACV rinse after Im detoxed with terresentials. Scared to do anything else. Currently I use the following products, but have given up the conditioner cos it has hydrolyzed protein: http://www.sunfood.com/cgi-bin/order/index.cgi?id=518250645355&d=single&item_id=0795&c=Beauty/Self_Care&sc=Hair_Products&tc= One of my favorite things: http://www.sunfood.com/cgi-bin/order/index.cgi?id=518250645355&d=single&item_id=1052&c=Beauty/Self_Care&sc=Hair_Products&tc= (The price dwarfs to 20$ and then balloons to 45$, randomly.) That Merlin made-for-TV movie is one of the campiest things ever! I don't have it or anything, but my best friend and I do watch his Deluxe DVD every once in a while. I am a sucker for those AWFUL movies, cos they make me laugh. I'm talking Red Sonja, Catwoman, etc... I am also a fan of good movies; Mists of Avalon, Apocalypto, Clan of the Cave Bear (book was better but gotta love Daryl Hannah!), Elvira, etc... I will try the ACV rinse after Im detoxed with terresentials. Scared to do anything else. :-/ |

Hello and welcome to LongLocks! Sorry I'm a bit slow on my welcome, but I've been enjoying Minnesota's crazy weather this weekend!
