Title: pic posting question Post by pvtteeny on Sep 18th, 2007 at 10:59pm
Ok, this is going to reveal just how technologically challenged I am, but how (and I mean really barney level this for me) do I go about posting pictures of my hair? I'd love to get started, many thanks for the assistance :)

There are several ways to do it but for me this is how I post pictures:
First, you go the the website http://www.photobucket.com and set up a totally free account. Once you have done that you take your picture (s) and you upload it to photobucket while you are at photobucket. This is where it get's a little complicated. When the picture you want to post is uploaded, you find it in photobucket and then you copy and paste it to the message here. If you are not familiar with copy and past you find the 3 URL's and look for the one which says 'IMG Address' and just click that and it will turn blue. Now you right click and then click on copy from the drop down menu. Now, you come back to The Longlocks Salon and start a new message. If you want your message text above the picture first type your message and when it is done take your cursor and put it below your message and right click again. Then look for paste in the drop down menu and just click the word paste. You can then hit post but I always hit preview to make sure that is the picture I do want posted. It might take a few times to figure it out but after a while you can do it in your sleep. If none of that makes any sense just say so and I will try to make it clearer or someone else can explain it better. Good luck and I hope to see some of your pictures soon ;) Jerry |

I thought maybe the newest members might want to see this post in case they might be thinking about posting pictures and have no clue on where to get started.
