Title: My nephew
Post by Debr on Oct 30th, 2007 at 6:04pm
While I was at ladies conference this weekend, my nephew was arrested.  He is a shady character.  This is his 3rd offense and will probaly do time in prison.  Altho it makes me sad  :'( to think this will happen, he has had opportunities to change his life.  Since he is now 30, he can no longer blame his parents for his "hard knocks" in life.  I might sound cold but-----there comes a time when I cant cry about it anymore.  Thanks for listening I just had to vent a little.

Deb

Some people take longer to mature and accept responsibility for their actions.  Let's hope this latest arrest will the the turning moment for your nephew.

Thanx all of you.  Someone posted his bail monday, so he is out now.  Since none of the family members I know of have that kinda cash, I wonder who bailed him out?  His bail was 70,000 dollars.  I dont know his court date yet.  Deb

Sorry to hear about your nephew, Deb.  Some people must hit rock bottom before they're able to turn their lives around.  Let's hope this situation works for his benefit.

I am sorry to hear that your nephew is the way he is.

I had a nephew who was always seeming to get into trouble and his main problem was that he ran around with the wrong crowd.

But, he eventually was killed in a car accident because he was hanging around with some shady people.  He was only in his early 20's.

But, the saddest part is that he was going to church and trying to turn his life around but in the end his demons did him in.

Jerry
