Lessee, I've met Martin Atkins of the bands Pigface, killing joke, etc... Seen a couple of bands in concert, I know a couple of locally famous musicians,(one of which is apparently pretty big in europe, but not as nearly so much in the US>proving that in general, northern europe has better taste in music than most Americans( See Galadriel for an example  ;))

Other than that... I mostly get stories about Paul's brushes with famous people, like the donnas, more machine than man, the time that one of the members of Dope(don't remember which one offhand) almost got himself killed because he wouldn't leave Paul's date alone.

Wow Lisabelle, you met Rebe Jackson!!  The other day I was just thinking that if I ever met Latoya Jackson I'd probably lose my mind!  I know it's strange but I've been such a Michael Jackson fan for so long that meeting any of them would be too cool to me.  It's laughable though because I typically don't lose my cool around celebrities. ::)  Having met Andy Warhol would've been cool too!  You've met a lot of celebrities, did you used to hang out at Studio 54 or something? :D  Oops, just realized that, that would've been before your time.

Jerry, my husband just recently met Jimmy Walker at the Atlanta airport. :)

Okay lets see, who have I met or seen.

David Justice, I used to see him a lot.
Roberto Alomar... okay, I've met lots of baseball players, moving on...
Prince of course (he held my hand *gush*)
Lots of D list actors from the Temptations movie, I was an extra
And the director of that movie, can't remember his name but he also directed Ally McBeal.  Not knowing he was the director, I asked for his assistance in finding me a snack. ;D  He was very sweet about it and walked me to the food trailer. :P
I guess a D list actor that I used to date who's name I shouldn't mention (you probably never heard of him anyway ::))
Tommy Lee brushed against me at LAX if that counts
Was in line behind Cuba Gooding Jr. also at LAX
and on that same trip I was next to the singer Maya also at LAX ;D
Was at the same night club as singer Ashanti on New Years a few years ago
Pharrell
Several Pittsburgh Steelers, as I used to live in Pittsburgh
I was at a club (not together) with Michael Jordan, he's a creep
Tommy Davidson
Charlie Murphy, Comedian (Eddie Murphys brother)
Chris Rocks Brother, Comedian, can't remember his name
Tommy Hilfiger
Rebecca Romaine(sp?) when she was still Stamos
Robin Leech
Ice T
Cool Moe D
Tone Loc
The oracle from the last Matrix, can't rememer her name :P
Suzane DePasse
Phyllis Hyman
Sherman Hemsley... this is tough, I can't remember anymore.
Oh, Tony Kanal from No Doubt (Gwen Stefanni's ex.)

Wow you've met alot of people too!  Oh my lord you met Ice-T !!! (faints)  I use to work for a publishing house years ago in the US.  We went to all types of parties and that's were I got to meet most of the people listed.  Some would come into the office to see my boss who was the VP.  I met Rebe in the early 80's at a music club, there she preormed her lastest song, Centipede. Then she mingled with everyone.  She was very sweet! Michael Jordens a creep eh?  :P Shaq was a sweetie, just a cool dude, no big show, didn't have a huge posie with him.

I met Ice T at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas when I used to live out there.  I'd had a bit too many cocktails, walked up to him and gave him a hug.  He was very nice, he gave me some sort of compliment, but I don't remember what he said though. ::)  My husband was there and was like wow, you just hugged Ice T. ;D

Michael Jordan happened to be at a night club I was at.  He was right next to me and dancing very provocatively with a group of women.  I didn't interact with him at all, but I call him a creep because he was married at the time and I'd heard lots of stories about his womanizing ways.

I enjoy Ice T's acting, especially the movie Surviving The Game 8-)

I also like his band Body Count but I am not very familiar with his rap music.

That would be cool to meet Michael Jordan and I have heard the rumours of him cheating on his wife but I am sure more than half of the celebrities are that way since the opportunity is there more for them than us who are not so famous or not famous at all ::)
That is why Ervin 'Magic' Johnson tested positive for HIV :(

I'm not too familiar with Ice T's rapping myself and I also liked Surviving the Game he was good in New Jack City too.

You're probably right about most celebrities being that way, its' a shame though.

Let's see, ...... I live in Minnesota - who in the heck would come here???? ;D

Ok, I've seen Hubert Humphrey, Prince, The Beatles (OMG I am really dating myself with that one since it was their first tour of the US!), and a few other musicians that most of you are too young to even recognize their names.

I also so saw Savion Glover (dancer/choreographer) do Bring in 'da Noise/Bring in 'da Funk before he gave up the lead role.

I don't get out much, so I don't see many people.

Rather sketchy on "famous" people that I've merely seen. My father is a (highly) notable member of the local music scene, and I see him every day.  ::)  Consequently, I also see many other notable local musicians on a regular basis...they all know my dad. That's just the lifestyle that I was born into.

But as far as "celebrities" that I have seen but not met (not counting concerts):
Juice Newton
Dick Dale

Actually met:
Gary Hoey
Mary Downing Hahn

Met:

Marilyn Horne
Philip Glass

Worked With:

Abbey Simon
Carlisle Floyd
Fredell Lack
Katherine Ciesinski

Seen:

Stephen Sondheim
Charlene Tilton (asked her to go to another window because I didn't recognize her!)

Hakeem Olajuwon  (I used to go swimming with him, in the sense that he was in the pool and I was in the pool.  And by the way, Hakeem is not a good swimmer.  Not enough body fat.)

Oh, and the guys from Greater Tuna.  Joe Sears and Jaston Williams.  I was onstage with them.  Yes, in the sense that I was on the stage and they were on the stage.  It was at a Community Theater awards ceremony.  But they were at the party afterward.  I didn't go socialize because...what would I say?

You have not run into any of the Vikings anywhere?

I would say the artist Prince has been the most famous person from Minneapolis/Minnesota :-/
Laura Ingalls Wilder would come in a very close second.

I would like to visit Minnesota sometime.

I haven't seen any of the "current" Vikings.  Growing up, my dad worked with Bill Brown (during the off season - back when they didn't make outrageous sums of money and they all had to work to live during the off season) so I met him several times along with Fran Tarkenton, Jim Marshall and Alan Page.  I had a "run in" with Mick Tinglehoff as well.  A literal run in - his wife was driving and backed into my car in a parking lot.  He was the passenger. Needless to say, they paid cash to fix my car.  (Little did they know I didn't have my license yet - I was still on my permit with my mom in the car with me.)

Prince does frequent the "hot spots" on occasion, but not usually anyplace I would be.  8-)  When I saw him, I was leaving a restaurant and he was pulling into the parking lot to start a setup for a small concert he was doing in the same building.  Body guards everywhere - you couldn't miss the commotion.

I forgot about Robbie and Evel Knievel who passed away Nov. 30 and his funeral was Monday Dec. 10th.

I saw Robbie and Evel at the annual Evel Knievel Days which is held at the end of each July in Butte, Montana which was Evel's home town until me moved to Florida.

Robbie now lives in Washington state but announced he is going to still do jumps but not as big and often as he used to.

I can add that I have met our current four governors of our state (Montana) and the latest is Brian Schwitzer who actually toured our area where I work and met each State Of Montana employee which I thought was very neat 8-)

On the political subject, George H. Bush came to our town when he was president and I saw his car and motorcade go by but I never did see him but I did hear him over the loud speakers.

I saw the former president Clinton in his motorcade.  We were very close so we were able to see his face which was kinda cool.  He waved in my direction which sparked my friend and I to have a silly but friendly argument about it for the rest of the day which basically went like..."he was waving at me", "no, he was waving at me." ;D

I have to admit I am not a fan of Bill Clinton or his wife especially after he lied to the whole country about his infidelity ::)

But, people complain about whoever is the president and my mom put it best:  The country will be screwed up no matter who the president is.

Yeah, the whole cheating thing turned me off of 'ole Bill but I do like his wife.  I admire her and think she's a brilliant lady, although I don't agree with all of her political ideas.

I'd like to be a bit optimistic and think that perhaps, one day we'll have a president who will turn things around (in a good way ;)) for this entire country. :D

I almost forgot that I met and got an autograph from Steve Largent.  For those who do not know him, he was one of the greatest wide receivers in the NFL who played for the Seattle Seahawks.
