The cold white stuff is coming down at a pretty good pace here in Southeast Missouri. :( This whole area is under a winter advisory, and I hear the public schools will be closing at noon. Yours Truly will probably make a beeline for home around 1:00. I also have a feeling that I won't be coming to work tomorrow. ;) Wherever you are, stay safe. :-*

::sigh:: another snow storm goes SOUTH of us! ::) Instead we get the artic cold. Never got above zero yesterday and the wind chill was -45F when I came to work yesterday. They keep teasing us with snow in the forecast, but nothing significant has come down since the first of January.

We have been having little snow bursts here too ;D. About 1 inch has been on the ground off an on all week. The temps have been hovering around 30 degrees. Today, tho it finally warmed up and started raining :'(. I much prefer the cold and snow.

Blech, blech, blechity blech! I hate snow!!! I love living in the dessert.

i love the desert too, although i missed the seasons when i lived there. now i'm up north and we have four inches, and it is supposed to fall all through the night. hopefully we'll get a snow day tomorrow at the school where i teach! (unlikely but a nice thought).

In the last two weeks we have gotten about ten inches of snow but it get's warm and some of it melts and then it snows some more so the ground is white but right now we probably have about three or four inches.

We are finally in the high 30's but we were down to -14 for a few days for lows and some area's got down to -50 wind chill.

And, I heard on the news that parts of our high mountains have fifteen to eighteen feet (yes, feet) of snow :o

I will be so glad when spring and the mild temperatures are back.

All you lucky ducks with your snow! ;)

I've lived in desert territory for almost 30 years and am SO over it! :P
I'm an Arctic animal at heart so I love snow...and ice...and rain...and dark skies...and temps below 70.
