Hi All,

I hope this is not innaproppiate to ask, as I know some of us frequent several hair message boards, but does anyone know what has happened to the long hair community website? It's been down forever. Just curious. Now I'm off to catch up on all the posts here on this great site!

Hi, Strawberryfine, glad to see you back. I don't know what happened. BB said something like they may have had to move to a new server which will take awhile.

Thanks, Sakina, for that info. But it has put me back in touch here and made me remember how much I love this site! This was the first hairboard I ever found and it really is my home. It's nice to be back. :) It feels like you get to really know people here. 8-)

Welcome back! Sorry it took me so long to reply - work has me buried.

The last I heard on LHC was that Stephanie is very busy (just married and moving from Alaska to Texas) and the crash occurred during the move. She is having trouble reconstructing the databases, but is trying hard to recover everything she can. Last guess was that the boards could be down a few weeks more.
