Good article. I'm one that weighs myself every morning since my wife bought a scale to lose weight herself (doctor's orders). I figured I should lose, too, since it might help her and help myself as well with my blood pressure problems. I always found I weigh less when I wake than when I go to bed.

At least there is a rational explination. Here I thought I was burning all these calories dreaming and slumbering!  ;D

Even though my scale supposedly calculates fat % and fluid %, I still think it lies.  I mean, my measurements are the same most times unless it's close to or during my period.  I may measure ½" more around the waist in the evening than in the morning before I've eaten as well, but generally my measurements are reliable.  However, it's amazing what a couple more hours of sleep on a Saturday and Sunday can do for my weight.  We're talking a fluctuation of 2½kgs. less on a Sunday morning that say mid week.
