OH WOW! I was browsing the boards today as a visitor and was totally surprised to see this! :o Sorry I haven't been around since November. I've been kinda/sorta busy and with the stress of living in a foreign country, not always in a pleasant mood. For me, it's better to keep to myself (posting wise) and not fill the boards with cranky posts.

I'm doing okay, for the most part. The past two months were pretty busy. I had to go to a lot of teachers' parties because of my JHS's graduation, the end/start of the school year, and one of the teachers at my school got married. I think I had to attend 6 or 7 parties in less than 8 weeks. I recontracted with the JET Program for a third year, but I think I'm moving back home after that. I like Japan, but the country's customs are driving me crazy more often than they did last year.

Er, anyway...Thanks so much for thinking of me, Lisabelle and Trisha!!! It really means a lot and totally made my day.

Juri!!! So glad you've checked in and given us an update. I can only imagine the special stresses of living in a foreign country - even if it is one that you've always wanted to live in.

I hope you can enjoy your time there and things get a bit easier for you. Please do check in with us and give us an update from time to time - ...... and I think we can handle some griping.

Wooo hooo! Its so great to hear from you Juri chan! I know what you mean about living in a different county. When I moved to Canada 20 years ago I found it nutz too! We would love to hear from you more! Big hugs! I missed you!

Dang, I forgot how much I love everyone at LL!! I'm teary eyed at how great you all are. I honestly didn't expect to be missed this much. I think it's great how although we've never met in person, we (the members of this community) are so tight knit. Does that sound weird? It's nearly 10pm here and I tend to get reflective and/or melancholy at night.

I'll try to check in more often. I know my journal needs to be updated so I'll try to get to that before I go to bed tonight.

Sakina--My hair's actually shorter than it was in November--it's around vertical-smile length now. It's a bit of a long story, and I'll get around to writing about it in my journal.
