Title: What Time Are You?
Post by Trisha on Apr 18th, 2008 at 3:56pm
I love taking quizzes   :)  Here's a new one I found, and my results.

http://www.the-n.com/quizzes/quiz_main.php?id=3321

You're 6:49 a.m.
You're the time of day right around sunrise, when the sky is still a pale bluish gray. The streets are empty, and the grass and leaves are a little bit sparkly with dew. You are the sound of a few chirpy birds outside the window. You are quiet, peaceful, and contemplative. If you move slowly, it's not because you're lazy ? it's because you know there's no reason to rush. You move like a relaxed cat, pausing for deep stretches that make your muscles feel alive. You are long sips of tea or coffee (out of a mug that's held with both hands) that slowly warm your insides just as the sun is brightening the sky.

16% of the people who took this quiz got the same evaluation.

Here's a huge surprise...  ;)

"You are midnight.

You are darkness and moonlight and a sky full of stars. You're nocturnal, but not in a lonely way. You are the moment when an unbelievably good rock show goes into its third encore. Just when everyone starts to wonder if it's finally over, the band runs back on stage and starts another song. You are the time of night when everybody knows it's getting late, but nobody wants to go home. You are the smoke machines, still going strong, and the stage lights that make that smoke glow blue and red. You are the warm mass of people singing along in unison, the sweaty rockers, the guitar solo, and that split second when you could swear the lead singer looked in your direction.

12% of the people who took this quiz got the same evaluation."

Surprise, surprise, I'm a 6:49am.  Hmmmm, by that time I have been at work about an hour, started up all the servers, responded to about 20 emails, completed my daily suduko puzzle, read the comics, and on some days, biked 12 miles to work!

That quiz was obviously created by a night owl.  Several of the questions did not really have good answers for a true morning person.

I'm 3:15 p.m.  The analogy was a school bell letting out the students.  Figures for a teacher!

This isn't surprising since the description does fit EXACTLY!:
"You are 3:15 p.m.
You are the moment when the last bell rings and school lets out for the day. You are resistant to schedules and obligations, so you love feeling like you're in control of your life again. You are the very moment when the second hand hits the 12, and the halls fill with noise and motion. Even if your after-school time is packed with activities, lessons, or a job, somehow, you just feel freer in the late afternoon than you do earlier in the day. Maybe it's all that blue sky and afternoon sunshine? Nah -- even on rainy days, 3:15 is always a beautiful time.

This is true. THe high point of my day is right after I get home from work. I expected a later time, but the description is perfect.

Robin, at 6:49am, unless I'm on overtime, I'm just getting out of the shower. I start at 7:00. I NEVER make it.  :P  ::) One of the questions, "are you on time?  :o  ;D HA! My mother has told me the only time I was early was when I was born, which was a week early.

---------
I just read again how you responded to 20 emails by 6:49.... I never respond to an email before lunch!  ;D But I do like riding in the cool morning air, IF I happen to wake up early when I don't have to!

You are 10:02 a.m.
You are breakfasty, like a pile of pancakes on a Sunday morning that have just the right amount of syrup, so every bite is sweet perfection and not a soppy mess. You are a glass of orange juice that's cool, refreshing, and not overly pulpy. You are the time of day that's just right for turning the pages of a newspaper, flipping through channels, or clicking around online to get a sense of how the world changed during the night. You don't want to stumble sleepily through life, so you make a real effort to wake your brain up and get it thinking. You feel inspired to accomplish things (whether it's checking something off your to-do list or changing the world), but there's plenty of time for making things happen later in the day. First, pancakes.

There should have been more choices for the catagories so I just clicked on what was closest to what I would have picked.

That was fun!!! :D I like quizzes too!  Although, I was surprised at the answer at first.  Once, I read it, it made sense.  However, the reason that I like the night time or the very wee hours of the morning is that it's quiet, peaceful and a great time to think.  So, this is correct, but I'd say that I'm more like 3:00 a.m.  I like to be in bed by 6:00 a.m., before the sun comes up.

I liked this one because the answer wasn't an obvious one I could manipulate.

You are 2:11 a.m.
Your time of day has a split personality -- sometimes it's sweat-streaked and loud, and you're on the dance floor, getting your third wind, and shouting lyrics like you'll never run out of energy. You are the time of night that carves itself into your memory forever, because you'll never forget how much you love these people and this moment and this song. It's not always about unforgettable parties, though. Sometimes your late night (err? early morning) burst of energy happens when you're home alone. Those are the times when you say, "I flat out refuse to go to sleep until I finish reading this book, or typing this page, or reorganizing my entire closet." In either case, you are the time of night when it feels sort of forbidden to be awake, but you love accomplishing something special long after everyone else went to bed. And hey -- you can always catch up on sleep tomorrow, right?
