Tomorrow, a 9 week old Golden Retriever puppy will be part of our family. This will be our 3rd golden since we were married 26 years ago.

Names, anyone? The poor gal is still nameless. Prefer starting with 'L'.

Awwwww! a puppy! I love puppies! I'm terrible at names. Lady, Lucy, Lily, Lucky, Laina, Luella, Lovey. I'm sure you will come up with a lovely name that will fit her perfectly.

I was thinking of Lady for a good L-name too.
There's also Laila, Leeanne, Lilith, Lydia, Leota...
but I still like Lady. ;)

Too bad puppies grow so fast.

How about Lorelei like the Styx song which is one of my favorites by them ::)

I would also suggest Lola except the song by The Kinks is about a cross dresser :P

And Uriah Heep have a song called Sweet Lorraine :-/

I used to have a good female freind named Lana and I also worked with a Lana.

My younger sister's name is Lynne but I don't know how well that would work for a pet's name :-/

Well, that should give you a few more ideas ;)

Awww...congratulations Rodent!

I love puppies and kittens. Unfortunatley, like Jerry said, they do grow up too fast!

When I got my kittens, I was thinking of L names too. I like Layla, Leeah, Lola and Lilah.

congrats on the puppy! have you considered "little"? i knew a really big cat named that and it was a pretty cute name as she grew up.
