I was a competitive swimmer growing up (ages 5 -16, 18 -20; I swam synchro from 16 - 18). I am soooo inspired by Dara Torress making the Olympic swim team at age 41 and after having a baby. She shows that it is NOT necessary to give up at 21 as "too old" to compete. Go Dara Go!!!!

(Now, if she just had long hair, she'd be perfect!!!!)

I truely hope that her accomplishment is true and not the result of doping. She's offered herself up for extensive testing - let's hope she comes out clean.

That is cool. How wonderful she didn't think herself too old to try out. We need more inspirational mature persons!!!
