Barb and I went to the only zoo in our state last week which is not very big but they do have some neat animals and other things :)

It was getting hot so most of the animals were in shaded areas sleeping and/or laying down trying to keep cool.

One of the active animals was the Red Panda which was walking around and I got some good pictures of it.

So that's what a red panda looks like! The one at the Boise Zoo had given birth and they were keeping things quiet until she was ready.

This is a stuffed grizzly bear which is inside the zoo building. I would not want to be this close to one in the wilderness ::)

I'm so glad that you enjoyed your time at the zoo, I love the zoo! :D It's so interesting yet, educational. I even still have pics on my camera from my last visit to the zoo! :)

Wow!! Love the eagles!! 8-) I always wanted a bird of prey :) Mind these birds are huge! ;)
