This is a very nice informative site. I have hair to the bottom of my bra strap. The longest that it's ever been has been butt length, just long enough that I could sit on it.

I would like to learn how to use hair sticks. I have thin hair but the hair that I do have is coarse. I'm one of the few Asians with a thin head of hair.

Welcome to LongLocks Salon! Learning to use hairsticks is usually just a matter of practice and playing around. As you hair gets longer, you will find that you have to "adjust" your techniques to handle the length.

For now, have you tried just a simple bun? Can you hold it together with one or two sticks?

I've managed the simple bun with 2 hair sticks. I haven't tried 1 hair stick yet. I want to learn how to do the figure 8, that looks really neat.

The hair style gallery is very informative.
