Hello hello :D

Finally I registered myself in here -after visiting here daily for months... So, I´m from Finland, sorry about the spelling ;).

My hair is quite short, just below my ears and I have just started growing it. For the first time in my life I want to grow my hair as long as it will get. I´m very excited about this and I have already bought a huge range of shampoos, conditioners, combs and brushes etc. ;)

About my hair... Very straight, shiny, fine as a texture, normal thickness. Colour is dark brown (coloured) with highlights, but the condition is very good though.

I use Redken, L´Anza and Tigi products, and I have found them very suitable for my hair.

It´s nice to be here and I´m happy to answer any questions :D. (We have the same kind of forum in Finland www.hairstore.fi/bbs, you are welcome to visit there. )

Really? Well, that´s nice to hear :). Usually people don´t know anything about Finland, except Nokia´s mobilephones... ::) Where in Finland exactly are your genes from?

I'm part Fin part Deutsch. I've never been there but I took an anthropology on Finnish culture once. it was really interesting. One book i really liked was "A Year in Lapland" which was about a guy who spent a year with Saami. I think it also took place in parts of Sweden.

Actually, I'm not sure where my grandparents hailed from, but I have a brother who spends a lot of time in Finland and spends most of it in Tampere. He's been studying the language for years and spends a month there every other year or so.

Welcome to the boards! I live in Linköping, Sweden so we're not that far apart. My hair is about as long as yours (when dry), so we're in the same boat there too. I look forward to reading your posts!
