Hi y'all -

Last night I saw an old rerun of "Sex and the City," it was the episode where Carrie breaks off the wedding with Aidan and all the girls go out to a black and white ball. I fell in love with Carrie's ball hairdo, and I would love to figure out how it's done (I've already searched the net).

She basically looked like she had one of those crests from Roman helmets on the back of her head. There was so much volume it made me wonder if her hair was wrapped over something horizontally. It reminded me of a huge French twist, but with a comb in each side (I suppose). Any ideas?
