Title: Baby hair
Post by candylipsgurl on Jun 27th, 2004 at 2:09am
My son is 4 months old, and his scalp gets very flaky in the top, I have tried lotion but it dries it out. i have also tried vasaline but that only makes his hair greasy and still doesnt work. What can i put in it to help with the dry scalp that wont harm him. i also have this problem. ???

are there any intensive baby moisturisers on the market? other than that maybe you should ask your doctor/babys doctor?

Does your baby have "cradle cap"?  It is a fairly common occurance with babies.  I've heard of people using jojoba oil on the babies scalp to help with the healing and reduce the flakiness.

My son did not suffer this common malady and I don't remember what the typical treatments were back then.  They probably suggest other treatment these days anyway.
