Post by Kaylin on Jul 2nd, 2004 at 6:44pm
Has anyone else used this product line before?
Currently I'm using the Vitamine E Moisture Rich Shampoo for Dry/ Damaged Hair and the Pro Vitamine B5 and Aloe Remoisturising Conditioner for All Hair Types.

Ingredients is as follows:

Shampoo:

Water( Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Polyquaternium-39, Quaternium-22, Polyquaternium-10, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl, Hydrolized Wheat Protein, Prunus Dulcis, Corylus Americana, Helianthus Annuus, Propylene Glycol, Camellia Sinensis, Epilobium Angustifolium, Foeniculum vulgare, Sutylene Slycol, Citric Acid, Ammonium Chloride, DMDM Hydantoin, Terasodium EDTA, and Fragrance.

Conditioner:

Water (Aqua), Quaternium-18, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearanidopropyl Dimethylamine, Aloe Barbadensis, Cucumis Sativus, Penthenol, Hydrolyzed Silk, Citus Limonum, Propylene Glycol, Citrus Grandis, Cocodimonium Hydroxypropyl, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Sterate, Quaternium-80, Steareth-21, Dimethicone, Disodium Peg-12, Dimethicone Sulfosuccinate, Oleamine Oxide, Glycerin, Citric Acid, PVP, DMDM Hydantoin, Disodium EDTA, and Fragrance.

I can see for the Conditioner that there are two -cones in it, and I hardly use the Shampoo now since I've gone to the CO routine.

Anyone else used TRESemme? Good, bad, Ugly?

I've used Tresemme' colour care line healthy highlights
shampoo and conditioner for highlighted, bleached and
blonde coloured hair.  It's supposed to make coloured
hair twice as shiny.  I've been highlighting my med.brown hair blonde for about 2 years but I'm going
to quit so I can get my hair long and healthy. My hair
gets damaged easily.  Anyway,  the shampoo and conditioner did make my hair soft and shiny.  It does
have dimethicone in it if your trying to avoid "cones.
I can handle cones for a while as long as I clarify my
hair or do a vinegar rince.  I've been washing my hair
every 3 days.  I can't seem to go to CO washing.
I have so many products in my showere, my husband thinks I'm crazy.  I'm always tempted to try a new shampoo and conditioner but I promised myself I wouldn't buy anymore until I use up what I have.  I've
also been using Biolage by Matrix.   I'm always trying
to find that magic formula to make my hair look better.
