If you are an "enhanced" redhead, what are your favorite clothing colors to wear?
Do you wear different colors as a redhead?  What colors are your favorite?

If you are a natural redhead, have you embraced your haircolor and developed a wardrobe of colors to compliment your red hair?  What colors are they?

I have been an "enhanced" redhead since I was 13. I don't even remember my what my old hair colour is anymore! LOL
I have always heard that redheads shouldn't wear pink because apparently it doesn't flatter (I don't entirely believe that though...Nicole Kidman can pull it off grand!)
However, I have never liked pink so that wasn't a problem for me.

I'm a bit more of a neutral lass. I tend to look best in black when I wanna look flash or various shades of blue. I can pull off different shades of green too (even the ones that would look fairly hideous on others). I love deep wine red tops as well......all these are my favourite colours!

What about yourself? What do you find the most flattering on you?

As an "enhanced" redhead, I think I should switch from black and primary colors to brown, muted, etc. Right now I don't have money to revamp my wardrobe, but I bought a few olive things recently at Walmart that looked better than they would have when my hair was darkest brown.

im not a red head but my best friend is. the colours that suit her best are black, green and midnight/darker blues. they all work fabulously.

I'm not as red as I was 10 years ago, but I still think of myself that way. Green is fabulous on redheads, especially if you have green/brown eyes (like me). Otherwise, match your skin tone. If you are quite fair with a rosy complexion, go more for blues and whatever blondes wear. If you are more peachy and freckled (like me), wear coppery, autumn shades like brown, gold and rust reds.

I love black, gold, wine-fall leave colors as well as teal, dark blues and sometimes RED.  Rosy browns are good too. and ecru.

Just thought I'd add a post here.  I'm a natural redhead, and I've embraced the color wholly!  I have a bit of an unusual combination red hair and blue eyes.  I have very pale skin with pink undertones, but I can still wear a whole bunch of colors..  My favorites are green, but I also like pinks, oranges (dark pumpkin colors), black and cream.  But I do stay away from white.. (eeek!)  Not a good color for a pale Irish girl!

Red

I had a co-worker with red hair - she referred to it as an attitude, not a color!  In her case, I think she was right.   8)

I don't have red hair (it's enhanced black) but my aunt had red hair (long hair past her knees) and she wore light blue and it went beautifully with her hair. :D

My hair is naturally a medium brown.  I had it highlighted
blond(now growing out) for a while.  There was a time
about 4 years ago when I had the stylist colour my hair
a dark auburn.  I loved that colour!! I never did change my clothes but I did have to change my makeup because
I'm very pale skinned and it was a bit darker than my
natural colour of hair.  ( I was able to wear much more
dramatic makeup than I can now.) I should of  kept
it that colour instead of going lighter, which is so hard
to back out of.

I tried on a jacket today. It was an odd shade of scarlet, a little bit toward brick. It really set off my hair color. I was very surprised when I saw the effect in the mirror.

Of course, it didn't fit at all, and it cost $200 more than I would have been able to afford, but I'll keep that color in mind...

I have the same or similar coloring as you; red hair, blue eyes, pale skin.  I can also wear pinks.  It's rare to meet someone with the same coloring! And welcome!

Over the years I've had auburn, fire red, and strawberry blonde hair and a color that always worked well was blue.  Purple also works well, especially lilac.
I've always loved my hair, and love it when people ask if it's natural, because I can say yes! :)  Also I've always gotten more attention from guys with any shade of red hair, probably because I'm *so* pale...
Novusfemina, I have auburn hair and blue eyes and am very, very pale like you(Irish and Scottish!), and I LOVE the way white looks!  The white against my skin actually makes me look a little darker in comparison.  It also really sets off the red in my hair.    
All my fave colors for red: Dark blue, bright yellow, lilac, and white.

i am a natural redhead as well. i love white, black, dark greens, and just about anyshade of blue. for some reason, they highlight my hair and make my complection stand out (considering i am very pale) they do not wash me out. i do stay away from really bright colors. they tend to make me look like i belong in a circus. ;)

I am a natural redhead--hated it as a kid in the generation of blondes with straight hair.  (What's up with red, thick, wavyhair that frizzes out to massive portions when hit with blow dryer or humid?)  Anyway, I have always avoided pastel colors.  Autum colors seem to be my best choices.  My daughter though has beautiful auburn hair, pale skin with dark blue eyes--she looks divine in purple hues.

I started this thread a long time ago and it is still intriguing to me to come back and read all the responses.  Being a softer, muted red with blue eyes and pale, pale (Scottish, French, Irish) skin I have recently been shocked to find that I can wear magenta and deep rose shades exceptionally well.  Who'd have ever thunk that?  It just goes to show that you can't accept the stereotypical redhead colors as your only options.  Try everything with an open mind, make your own fashion and color statements and be the most gorgeous, drop-dead-red, redhead that you can be!  
I didn't like my coloring for years, but finally I've come to embrace it and even like to play up my "paleness".  This feels so much better!  I love big floppy hats and sunscreen now.  Black can be gorgeous against a pearly white skin and for me white is great, too.  It makes my skin look a bit creamy by contrast to the starkness of the white.
Pale is pretty and Redheads rock! 8-)
