ive been away for a few days and i dont know when ill be back on the boards.....my internet at home isnt working right now! nooooo!  >:( im not supposed to use it at college for "recreational" purposes so i cant keep up)

Hi FB! I know what you mean about too much work. I do all my long hair sites in the morning before school when I have enough time to answer all the posts  ;)

leia -- you actually have time in the morning to get online?! All I have time to do is roll out of bed, comb my hair, and throw some food in a paper bag for lunch. I need every minute of sleep I can get, especially now that I have a job and am up to midnight most nights finishing homework (or procrastinating on the internet... ::)).

Yes I do, Cairn! I wake up at 5.30 most mornings, do yoga and meditate for half an hour, (it takes me all of 5 minutes to get dressed), and then I'm online from about 6-7.15 in the morning. That's when I check my e-mail too. From when I come home, 3.30, till bedtime, 9.30, I'm doing homework! So I hardly have time to go online. This week, though, I have a week off from school, so I've had a lot of online time. I have a job, too, but I work from home and on Saturdays, and I only have two students, so that doesn't hinder me from getting my work done.

*sigh* School is so hard sometimes..  :-/

Ah no, only messin. You do very well to have enough self discipline to be able for that kind of hour, Leia.  ;) A far better person than I! You couldn't get me up at that time with a nuclear bomb.

I prefer the mornings myself.  I get up a bit before 5am each day, read the paper, then bike to work (12 miles).  I'm usually at my desk by 6:15am.  Then bike home at 4pm.  

My internet time is sporatic - I can access from work as well as from home - so I can check in here several times a day.  ;D

BEFORE 5AM?!?  

Ok....I must be havin a nightmare.....

I'm generally a morning person too, except during school when I'm usually so exhausted that I need every minute of sleep I can get. It doesn't help that it's a 15 minute drive to school and I have to leave at 6.45 a.m. to get a decent parking spot.  :-/

;D ;D more to add to your nightmare, Rua. I get up really early too, to read the paper and watch the sunrise! (Except during the snowy season here, it's nasty)

Poor Rua, we've scared her! ::Sends over some sleeping dust and earphones so she doesn't have to listen to us being loud in the mornings::  ;)

My goodness, ladies - you are an early group!  As you are all getting up, I'm wrapping up my day and preparing to go home - I go to work each evening at 10:30 pm and leave for home at 7:00 am. When I see the sun coming up, I start yawning! ;D

I give you all MUCH credit for getting such an early start to each day - I could NEVER be a morning person.  I've been working the night shift - full time - for 21 years!  can you believe it?! :o

But - I now have a greater understanding of why all of Susan's beautiful HairSticks are already purchased by the time I get off work, run my son out to high school and get back home to get on the computer - By 8:15 am I see that most of the sticks newly posted are already claimed :'(

Good luck to all of you ladies in school - My son also spends 3-6 hours each day after school bent over his desk doing homework - after spending the entire day at school - No rest for the studious! - Take care of yourselves, get plenty of rest, and keep up the great work!

You haven't scared me too bad. Actually, I work for an airline and my earliest shift requires me to get up at 5:30am to meet the incoming plane. I HATE it (Not the job, just gettin up at that ungodly hour!).

My contract with the airline ends at the end of this month, so I'm looking forward to hibernating throughout the winter months. (The nights are so long here during winter which make it even harder to get up in the mornings. Sunset at 3:30pm and Sunrise at 9:00am.)

Fair play to you all for being so good to get up as early as you do without complaint!  ;)

Here where I live the shortest day sun comes up aroung
8:00 and goes down about 4:45.  i Love summer!!!

YES! I love summertime for that very reason. Here its Sunrise at 4:00am and Sunset at 11:00pm (with it still being fairly light outside at 11:30pm.)

I live in the upper midwest(USA) and here the summers
can get hot and sticky(humid) but I still love summer!
Sun comes up about 5:00 with bits of light breaking
through about 4:45 and goes down at about 9:30
but there is still some twilight at 10:00.
We can get some cold, severe winters, too.  
Minnesota is where I live.

Hey Babyfine - we live in the same neck of the woods!  I love the long summer days.  I dread going off daylight savings time at the end of October - it means I go to work and come home from work in the dark :(, which means the end of my biking to work.  (However, I did NOT bike today with 40 degrees and rain.)

Yes, Bikerbraid, another Minnesotan!!   I'm not originally
from here, but I married a Minnesota man.   Today was
very  COLD!!  we're going to have to get our blood
thickened up for winter.  We didn't really have much
of a summer this year, either.  Just a few hot days.
I like to be outdoors in the summer, too!  Yes, the
end of outdoor activities are coming soon. biking'
gardening, walking ect.
