Whether long or short, many of the routines that longhairs use should work wonders on short hair as well.

I would "guess" (and I'm hoping a longhaired goddess will chime in with advice) your short haired friend might find many of the tips such as no heat, oiling, and clarifying to be beneficial to remove the frizz.

I would assume the reason the frizz popped up after the hair cut, is because the longer hair was weighing it down more.

I definitely agree with NR...The routines many of us use on our long hair would work just as well on short hair. No matter the length, hair is always going to act and feel nicer the better it is treated. :)

thanks guys, i think she will be really happy to use your ideas :) :)
something i forgot to add her hair is:brownish, black(with a little redish shine from using henna)
before the cut it was about shoulder length, or about an inch past.

I'm wondering - is she disturbing those curls by messing with them before they dry?  Curls often don't like that  8)...g

My wavy hair totally frizzes if I turn my head upsidedown when my hair is wet, so maybe that also contributes.  I'd suggest your friend check out www.jessicurl.com.  Jess makes great products and has tips for handling curly and wavy hair.  Good Luck to your friend!
