Title: Nature's Gate, Chamomile & Lemon Verbena Condi
Post by Bardot on Aug 6th, 2005 at 7:43pm
Hey everyone :),

My first review ever is of . . .
Nature's Gate, Chamomile & Lemon Verbena Conditioner (for dry, damaged hair)

Review:  I love this stuff.  It has no cones (that I know of) and it smells exactly like chamomile and lemon.
And although this product did not give me the extreme slip that VO5 and Suave conditioners can do, it did leave my hair tangle-free and easy to get my fingers through (when still wet in the shower).  After towel-drying my hair, it was still easy to detangle and ended up feeling very soft when fully dried.

I should also mention that I left the conditioner on for about 5 minutes while I was shaving and doing other stuff and used a wide tooth comb to distribute it evenly. Overall, I love this stuff and hope it works just as good for everyone else too!

The product also comes in a bright green bottle and has the ingredients listed below :D

Ingredients: certified organic lemon verbena hydrosol, botanical infusion of certified organic chamomile, marshmallow, horsetail, comfrey, fennel, witch hazel, licorice, burdock, yucca, cetearyl alcohol, behentrimonium chloride, certified organic aloe vera, vegetable glycerin, hydrolyzed wheat protein, hydrolyzed wheat starch, hydroxyethylcellulose, cetyl esters, certified organic lemon verbena oil and orange oil, bisabolol, grapefruit  seed extract, pure essential oil of chamomile, lemon, ylang ylang and geranium.

I really like the way this stuff sounds...Where did you buy it and how much did it cost?

I do the same thing in the shower, leave my conditioner on while I finish my other showering duties. Seems to work well for me.  :)

I've used this in the past and liked it.  I see it at Whole Foods all the time - they have a pretty large line now...g

I second what Atlantis said.  I need to use up what I got at home first  ::)

I swear ingredients are evolving as we speak.  I'm going to have to see if I can find a good site explaining what some of those are.  I'm sure BB would have it right at hand.  We can always pester her when she gets back *EVILLE  ;D* ...g
