i remember reading once , enjoy your hair at any length because it will grow fast. im trying to enjoy it now at this shorter stage. its hard though, but it is fun to try new hair things!  its also fun to order hair things, expensive, but fun.  once a week i will buy something for my hair. for example, hairsticks, a scrunchie, or a new product.

I found that as my hair was growing out, I would have fun discovering new styles that I could do with the new length.  When your hair is a bit shorter, is a great time to learn braiding techniques - before your hair starts rebraiding itself and complicating the whole process.  I wish I had learned to do a crown braid when my hair was mid back or so..... it is very difficult to learn now that my hair is classic length.

So enjoy your hair at whatever length it is at!
