Title: Different hair-qualities
Post by Joan-Ivy on May 11th, 2006 at 4:59pm
Why, hello. I have a question to all of you out here on longlocks.  ::)
My hair overall is nice- deep waves and strong, no split ends. Then I have this little "outcasts"-curls that are of a totally different quality. They are much thicker and hoarser, goes into ringlets when damp and breaks much easier than the other hair. This is really annoying since I want my whole hair to be in top-condition. Is there anything I can do?  ???
I'd be very grateful for answers... Love  ~~Joan-Ivy.

Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to have more than one type of hair on your head, especially if you your hair is lighter colored.  (Asian hair is one exception to this).

Not having any split ends is excellent.  Your "outcasts" may diminish as you get a little older, but they will most likely come back again.  As your hormones change, your hair will also change.  Sometimes having a baby will cause straight hair to become curly/wavy or wavy hair to become straight!

Be gentle with your hair and it will look great.
