I'm still hunting around for Halloween ideas and I came across this page. I've never seen so many beautiful Geisha/Maiko styles close up enough to see how the decorations are used.

Thank you so much for sharing those pics with us! The women are absolutely beautiful and the outfits also. Clarification and respect to these women who are working so hard at an early age to be educated and be a proud geisha!

Great links! The one for the Kanzanshi is excellent! I always wanted to know the seasonal types that aree worn. Thanks! :)
