Silver hair has a special elegance of its own. I started going gray before 30 due to thyroid problems. However, now that my hair is 95% silver, I had my formerly brunette hair bleached, had it grown out and am happy to have silver hair which affords me healthier hair, more time away from the parlor, dying a dark color and so forth.

I am glad I finally came to my senses. I wear it in a type of french twist with a couple of hair stix and viola..instant chic.

I really think silver hair is beautiful!! You have to post some pics for us to see how beautiful your hair is! I love the salt and pepper look too. Keep it growing!!!

Sorry the photo is so big....this was back at Christmas nite and yes, I was tired.

I gotta get new shots as my hair is way below my shoulders now.

AshenLady,

You and your hair are very beautiful! I love it when ladies grow their hair long...so magical to me. Forget about what fashion trends say, and just be beautiful and free! You are lookin good with that beautiful silver hair.
