Title: brassy and uneven???!!!
Post by Bob on Jul 21st, 2006 at 4:08pm
Okay so i had my hair "professionally" done in china about a week ago and it turned out orange and uneven. so the day i had it done was a medium brown, after i spent a day in the sun the top 3 or 4 inches of my hair turned light orange brown while the bottom remained dark brown??!

i think i'm partly to blame too becuase before that i tried an at home haircolor (nice n easy, reddish brown made for dark hair) but it do anything at all so i didn't think anything of it.

i'm thinking about apply a semi perminant color (like natural instincts dark auburn brown) but i don't want any unexpect results. what should i do?

(my natural hair is thick black asian hair)

Welcome back!

Sorry to hear of your coloring issues.   :-/  Since you have already had chemical treatments done to your hair, any additional coloring could result in undesirable results.  If you want to see what the semi permanent coloring would do, I'd suggest saving your shed hairs for a week and do a test on those hair before using it on your hair.

Otherwise I would suggest returning to a hair color specialist and have them do the correction on your hair.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I would go to a speialist colour correcting salon. The more you wash the more orange will be noticable as the top lyers of colour fade. Go pro and save yourself  unwanted results.
