Post by Curlgirl64 on Nov 1st, 2006 at 10:13am
Can you believe November is already here?! :o   Let's see how everyone is doing with their measurements?  I'll be clocking mine in when I am not so curly! ::)

Woohoo! Up to 22½" already!!  :D

At this rate, I'll be finishing this year off fairly strong, even after all of the trims. Man, now I have to readjust my ticker...

I said I wouldn't measure again until the new year but, I noticed that my hair had crept past my bra strap and I just couldn't help myself.  I'm now at 25.5" which I'm so thrilled about because I was hoping to be at 26" by the end of Dec. and I now think I'll pass that. :)

Yeah, thank you Curlgirl.  I just hope my hair keeps it up. Hopefully, my hair will be as long and full as yours one day. :)

my hair is currently at 13 inches long curly. It just seems so depressing that it is still so short i have been growing it for 3 years now, although that fact that i am growing it out from 1/2 long probably has something to do with that, but still i want longer hair >:(

Oh Meghann, you're doing fine!  Don't worry,it'll get longer.  It's just patience, good care and being happy when your hair is healthy!!! ;)

Its been months since I measured, and I've done a bunch of trimming this year, so I'm pleased to come in at 36.5 inches.   8-)

I'm off to trim 1/4-1/2 inch.

I'm at 20.5".  I'm back to where I was before my trim.

Edit:
Oops!  I misspoke-I'm at the same measure as last month, after my trim.  Pooh!

Something very strange is going on here......I usually measure when my hair is wet and not curly.  This morning I washed, acv'd,conditioned and oiled.  Left my hair down to dry and then decided to measure it.  It was damp and curly and I came in at 33 1/2 inches.  Don't know if an inch growth spurt in a month is possible, but that's what I got.  That's curly not straightened out to measure so I'm not sure what the heck it really is.  I know I have growth this month for sure(judging by the new grays that are coming in) and yes I did order henna and indigo from Catherine again!!! ;D  So that's the deal.....

Well, mine was an inch this month, too Curlgurl.  I think it has to do with the weather change.  Animals grow more hair in winter to keep warm.    hee, hee...

It's been a few months since I last posted in this section, but as of Oct. 30, my hair is 36.5". I think I had about .75" inches of growth in September.  :)

oldkathy, isn't that the strangest thing though?  When the winter comes,"things" go to sleep to prepare for Spring and you'd figure that your hair would slow down in the cold weather, but nope we've got a growth spurt!! :)

Good evening! "I'm feeling pretty and witty and"... um, well, not exactly "gay" as the song really goes, but whatever!  ::)
I had a trim a few days ago and I told my mom to cut a fair bit off... It barely goes to my waist now- 28 inches- but its condition is quite good actually! Even the "orcs" (my spirals) are looking okay.  :o

La-da-da-daa-daa-daaaa!  :D :D :D :-[

93.5cm/36.8in

I am going for a hair cut/major trim today.
Let's see what I come up with, afterwards. Planning on taking at least 10cm/4in off.
We'll see...

Update:
down to 86cm/33.8in
3 inches off. Maybe I'm a chicken! ;D ;D

33.8 inches is nothing to sneeze at!

Hi all. Wow, it's Nov. almost Dec.
Ok, I had to look back to find my last measurement and it was 27.5" in Sept. I'm now 29". I'm almost a 30" person!  ;D This is taking a while. I wonder if the fall/winter seasons is known for more or less growth than the spring/summer seasons.
