Title: Long Silver Gray hair
Post by Blondestorm on Nov 29th, 2006 at 2:34pm
All,

I really love all colors of beautiful long hair!  But long silver gray hair really drives me wild!  I love to see ladies of any age with gray hair that wear it down long!  i saw a lady in a  local store last week with long grayiong silver hair to her waist!  She looked just awesome!  Maybe she was in her 40's or 50's...I don't know, but her hair was so spectacular!  Keep that long gray hair growing ladies!!!!!!  you really are sooh very special!

Jim

I too love to see a full head of grey hair.  However it is tough to get through the "growing out" stage, especially if you have colored the grey for any length of time.

Unfortunately some of us will never achieve the full grey head of hair, and will instead have streaks of grey/silver/white mixed in with our natural color.  In my case, my natural color has become a dark blonde and grey is not as becoming.   :-/

I use to work for a lady who had the most beauftul silver and grey hair, though she kept it short the color was amazing! (though she was a cow! >:()  I think she used "Silver Lights" shampoo or something cause her hair never looked brassy.  Me, I'm getting a grey streak on my right side.  Hubbies Grand, who had floor lenght hair, had grey only on the top of her head and from what I know, never dyed her hair. I would love to have long silver hair! 8-)

Hubbies Grand?  I have never heard that name before!  She had floorlength hair though?
Would love to see pictures of her hair.  I have seen one lady with anklelength graying hair that was really spectacular.  her hair was very gray on the sides of her head and dark everywhere else.  Very interesting!

Hi Jim! Grandparents are called "Grand" up here in Canada, mostly by east coasters.  I wish I had a picture of her with her hair down.  I'm still trying to get one, but as she was from Sweden I've been having trouble getting in touch with the family.  Grands hair was really long, she was 6' 2"!!!  Making her hair about 5 1/2 feet long!  That my goal as well. 8-)

Mine is 32" right now, and at my waist.  I figure that 40" would be classic for me.  I'm hoping to get mine that long in the next few years.  I'm not solid gray, but what I call "chestnut silver" as I have brown with silver streaks.   Yesterday I almost cut a couple of inches as it is starting to get thin and stringy at the ends again.  I decided to wait till January and decide if it really needs it then.

I saw the lady with the long silver hair again and had a chance to compliment her!  She was very appreciative, and said her hair turned silver in her 20's.  She is only 40 today!  She is very beautiful with those long silver locks!
