Title: no oil
Post by Debr on May 8th, 2007 at 12:42pm
Good Morning all,  School was out for 3 days last week, so I didnt have to work.  Yeah!!
On Friday morning and Sunday morning, I washed my hair.  I didnt oil the nites b4, and I paid for it.  My hair was dry and flyaway, tangled easy, and was just down right snarly.
It has  gotten used to being oiled b4 bed and it has decided it likes that very much.  Stubborn hair.  Sooo, last nite I oiled and it was so happpy this morning  ;D ;D.  No tangles, snags, snarls, and I wasnt growling either.  I dont know what I will do if I ever have to take a flight somewhere cuz my hair really likes this routine.  Do they allow ollive oil in a carry on?  Have a great day.

You can pack your oil in any checked bag without a problem.  As for carryon, right now you are allowed up to 3 oz of liquids (total) that must fit in a 1 quart clear zip lock baggie.  I travel quite a bit and carry a small bottle of jojoba oil in my carry on.  It goes in the baggie with my toothpaste, deodorant, etc.

My hair also requires it's daily dose of oil or it complains.   ;D

Thanks Bikerbraid, but does that 3oz mean 3oz of shampoo, conditioner, bath oil, hair oil, tooth paste, deoderant, hand cream, facial moisturizer etc?  Or just plain 3oz of liquid period!!  But I can still pack full amounts of each in my checkthru luggage right?  All these new regulations get sooo confusing.

Thanks
Debr

No one product can exceed 3 oz and all products must fit in a quart sized bag.  You can read the specifics on the permitted and prohibited carry on items on the TSA site.

And yes, you can pack your full sized bottles in your luggage that is checked thru.
