Title: Curlgirl64's leave in aloe spray
Post by Curlgirl64 on Jun 3rd, 2007 at 8:24pm
Ok,after the henna and indigo session,I thought what could I use throughout the day and especially after I shampoo, acv and condition my hair?  I decided to make another "concoction"!! ::)
Get an 8 oz. spraybottle.  Fill that almost full with Aloe Vera Liquid (Gel).  I get mine from Mystify Your Senses.
Put in about 1 Tbsp. of vegetable glycerin, also from Mystify Your Senses.
3 drops of lavendar e/o
3 drops of rosemary e/o
You could use any e/o that you'd like for specific hair wants or needs.
I used the rosemary and lavendar for calming and hair growth.
Screw on the spray top,put the plastic cap on and always shake before spraying your hair.

This adds moisture, helps detangle, adds alittle shine, helps defrizz and is just an all around nice thing to do for your hair!!
It doesn't make your hair sticky either!  Big plus,no?

You know, I think I spend more time in the kitchen making hair things than cooking!!!!  Much less clean up though!!

I made this today and tried it.  I love it.  Thanx

looks like I need to make a trip to the health food store!!! I bet that would be great for FL summer heat and humidity plus I live only 10 mins from the beach.

oo! Ive been looking for something natural to help detangle my hair, I wonder if this would work!  Im not a huge Aloe fan, but I've never put it in my hair.  Also how often do you feel you can reaply this before your you wash your hair?  does it build up if used more than once in between washings?

Tara,

I have had great luck with this.  I use it on wet hair after I have towel dried and I use it sometimes between poos when the weather is very hot.  I make up 3 or 4 bottles at a time and keep one at work for after I run and the other 3 in my fridge for here or until I need more at work.  I swear by it.  Never makes my hair greasy!!
