Title: Well, I did it.
Post by Debr on Jun 8th, 2007 at 6:44pm
Good afternoon all, one of our students decided to hack into the adminstrative computer, why, I dont know, but the server crashed and has been down since the end of may.  So, I am at the library to catch up with all of you.  What did I do????  On May 2, I cut my hair back to 39 inches to test the morroco method.  I wanted to see if cutting my hair by the moon had any effect on its growth rate. Nada, not, no.  My hair grew its usual 1 inch per month.  Sooo, I cut it again on June 2, now it is 37 inches long, and I have finally cut off all of the abuse.  It is even all the way to the ends.  Yippee!!!!   It is sooo thick too.  I got a hair comliment today from older woman.  She said my hair is soo lovely and to keep it.
WOW!  I felt good about that.

Hey Debr,
I've been watching my chart of the Morocco Method, too and I haven't trimmed since April, but myself measuring for the month of June is not my usual.  I usually bug Mom in the early morning with a tape measure and get it done!!  So I'll be measuring for July to see and then trim again sometime in that month.
I did find though that shaving my legs by the Morocco Method for Retarding Hair Growth has had some positive results.  Yay!!
Instead of shaving my legs every few days,I probably shave them 1 sometimes 2x in a week.  So all in all I think I've eliminated shaving them atleast 1 time.  Hey,2x is better than 3x a week!!! 8-)

One inch a month is pretty fast growth.  The average is about 1/2 inch a month so you're still doing very well.

Hey Curlgirl,  I havent really tried the shave my legs by the morrocco method yet.  Hhhmmmm----good idea tho.  I am thinking of giving the haircut method another chance.  I am not going to measure until August 2nd, then I will see if there was any effect of cutting this way.  At least for now, my curls are even again.  No wisps at the ends.   Praise God!!!

If only there were some way to have leghair permanently removed... besides horrible painful 3rd degree burns, or something like that.   like, laser eye surgery, for legs!  (My tip, when wearing skirts, wear knee boots and skip shaving...)

Um, Kiraela? They do have laser hair removal. And it is permanent.  ;)

I do wear knee high boots with my skirts in the winter.  It can get 100 degrees or higher where I live.  So---no boots in the summer.  I dont want to spend money for hairless legs so I will be trying the morrocco method for legs.

ooh, they do?? Probably far too expensive :(   true, thinking about it, here in Louisiana, it's 96 degrees today, and summer hasn't even hit yet. The hottest month is supposedly August (I moved here last September... I guess I got lucky) And I can't even imagine wearing boots today. Which sucks because I was just gifted with a most beautiful pair of embroidered suede boots.  Since I hate shorts and all my skirts are almost floor length, I just don't bother shaving muh legs much more than once a week. *cringes* But it's less itchy.

It is pretty pricy, yeah. But not too bad. At least by SoCal standards.  :o
It gets dreadfully hot where I live as well, but I wear boots every day. My job requires everyone to wear protective shoes. Thank heavens for Ariats.  ;)
As for shaving, I don't use the moon method. Just whenever I need to, which is about 2-3 times a week.
