I noticed this morning just how thick my hair seems to be getting.  Maybe I am just weird, but I think it is actually thickening up!  The only thing that I think could be contributing to this is the weekly S & D's.  The regular removal of split ends is causing it be healthier.  It was real thick to begin with, now it just seems much heavier.  Hmmmm---wonder if there is way to find out how thick it is  :-?.  How would I go about to measure it?  

Blondstorm (Jim),  I was clearing off some messages today.  Saw a couple from you and yes, I am Pentecostal (Christian) and have been growing my hair for Spirtual reasons.  The ladies in my church group dont cut their hair at all, but I do.  It got to the point of cut or shave.  I was developing a hatred of the way my hair looked and acted, soooo, by trimming some it off, it has improved a great deal.  Plus, all of the great info on hair care I have read here.

To measure the thickness of your hair, you could put it into a ponytail and wrap a tape measure around it. I think I did that sometime last year...

There are a lot of Pentecostal ladies where I live with incredibly long hair.  There is one lady I see often with a huge twisted bun on her head.  I want to ask her so badly just low long her hair is!  I will one day.....I would guess it's nearly floorlength!  Good luck in your growing.....I'll bet your hair is really beautiful!

Hi Jim,  I go to church with a lady who has floor length hair.  It too is incredible.  There is another lady sho used to attend church here, and her hair is also floor length.  I only want mine too my knees, I cant imagine lugging around floor length.  Hahahahh  ;D.

FLOORLENGTH.............how awesome!  Oh how I would love to see their hair loose!  That has to be such a magical sight!  I hope I can see some florrlength ahir in real life  one day!
