braids are so neat! i cant braid my own hair to save my life. I need to teach my boyfriend to!

Tara, I cant braid my own hair either. I can someone else's tho. I guess it is a "hand eye coordination" thing. My braids always come real "wonky."

I dont know what "wonky" means (lol) but my braids just never come out great. Its becuae I have a hard time reaching around to the back of my head and manipulating my fingers, and I have long nails and they sometimes get in the way. I can visualize it perfectly, just can never seem to get braids tight enough or smooth enough! Oh well, if I am doing like a side braid or pigtail braid or something they usually come out pretty good. I want to french braid my own hair but i ca NEVER do it! I told my bf last night he has to learn and he said he would! I just gatta teach him! hehe.

Practice makes perfect, Tara.

When I started braiding my hair about a year ago, I was pretty terrible at it. :P Even now, the strands don't always come out even, but it's a lot easier for me than it was at first. You'll get the hang of it if you keep at it.

And btw, wonky means messed up. It's Canadian/eastern US slang. ;)

Those are great! The link to the blog showed a hair braiding sight that I had never seen which is always exciting!
