Hi, I don't remember when it started but my hair from curly/straight, became really dry and it still curly but very dry, frizzy and with tons of volumes :-/, and also I have a lot of hair. I wish to know how can I help my hair become healthy, and also it would help me a lot. I've always wanted long curly hair, but im starting to get tired of not finding anything to fix my hair, and been thinking of cutting it all, though that would probably be a bad idea. Right now is medium long, a little past my shoulders. :'(. I you can help me, I would be very thankful.

Att,

EgyptMayhem :)

Hi!
I think also what might help is deep conditioning every week, check the recipes here on the boards if you need ideas.  Oiling every night and maybe every morning, too depending on what and how much oil you use.  If you haven't already invested in a wide tooth seamless comb,it might be a good idea to have one for the shower and one for dry hair.  Ric the combmaker is one source to check out.  If you don't wide tooth comb you hair; you might invest in a natural boar's bristle brush.

My hair is very thick as well, and I've had some of the same problems as you.  I've found that leaving your conditioner in for a while before you wash it out helps.  It doesn't have to be hours, but a few minutes versus just putting it on then washing it off makes a big difference.  My hair has also become a lot softer since I've started using oils.  Try a few to find one you like.  My favorite is shea butter, but different ones work better for different people.

Also, if you look and see that you have a lot of split ends, you should trim your hair to get back to where it is healthy.
