Title: Got an idea!
Post by Debr on Mar 24th, 2008 at 7:51pm
OK, here is my idea!  I just cleaned up my hemline on the 19th.  The length I removed wasnt measureable.  I also dusted the body of my hair.  I think that on April 1, I will measure the length, and then not measure again until October 1.  What do you guys think of this idea?  My purpose is too see just how long my hair will grow in 6 mos.  I will continue with my oiling and s & d (body only) schedules.  I just want to see how fast and how long it will get this summer.  HEH HEH, this could be verrry interesting.  My idea is to keep the ends oiled and up as much as possible.  Then I cant watch it grow or get the thought to even the hemline.  It would be an out of site, out of mind kinda thing.  What ya'll think?

Hmm...I personally like seeing how much growth I've gotten every month. And I've been tracking its progress long enough to have a basic idea of what to expect each month.

But hey, to each their own, right? If you want to try it, I say go for it!  :)

When I first started regrowing my hair 3 years ago, I became obsessed with the monthly number.  I would get depressed and frustrated when my tape measure didn't register at least 1/2" of growth.  So I had to stop measuring every month and simply focus on the health of my hair.  As Angel said, to each his own.   :)

It would definitely be something that takes a lot of commitment!  :o
But if you think are up for it, and you are curious to see... then you should try it!  :)

I think it's a great idea! :D

When I was in school, I wore my hair up all of the time.  It was just easier that way.  I remember it always being fun discovering my new length when school was finished and I began wearing my hair down.  Also, that way you get more length because you don't need trims as often.  I'd still do it now if I had the discipline. :)
