I've just spent a month in Buffalo (a month of time I will never recover!).  At the company I was working at there is a woman in the IT department with lovely thick blonde hair to her waist.  It reminded me of my hair when I was younger (actually probably her age).  We chatted a few times about our hair.  She was envious of my length and silkyness, me of her thickness.  She was facinated with my hairsticks and I spent some time showing her how to use them.  Amazingly, she had never learned how to put her hair in a bun!  She is one of 3 in her family with long hair.  Her mother and sister also have waist length hair.  

It was fun to chat with a fellow long hair.  I hope she finds her way here!  (waves to Toni!!)

That's awesome!  Lucky Toni, she got to meet you in person.  It is hard to imagine having waist length hair and never putting it in a bun.  Although, a bun was one of my first hairstyle goals.  Maybe when you grow up with long hair it is not an issue.

Hard to believe that she never put it in a bun :o  I'm hoping she makes her way here,too!
