Hi Ladies and Gents,

As you know I have been having a rough one as of late.  I'am okay however, I just dont have as much time as I wish I did to post.  I still have been caring for my hair as I refuse to let it suffer  Been washing twice a week with one clarify as I now use Frizz ease for my curls and a curl restorer.  Havent measured but I did have a cut last month so it probably hasn't caught up.

Anyway I must go.  I miss you all very much :'(
Lisa

Hello Ladies,

Thank you so much for your kind words. :-*  Me and Hubby are no more.  We still live together and get along.  We just have the understanding that we are now just friends.

My hairs been doing good. It is getting longer and I need to get someone to measure it! ::)  Last I looked it was at the top of my butt crack. 8-)  Went to a garage sale a few weeks ago.  There was a huge box of hair toys for 3 for a buck.  I stocked up!  (funny, he bought them for me...)  I got combs with crystel butterflies and Lolipop hairsticks.  I also got size 2 knitting needles which are good for making more snoods!

Met some nuns from Mother Thersa's order the other day.  They gave me a blessed St. Mary metal and picture/prayer card with Mother Thersa on it.  I was tempted to join there order and move to India, very tempted!!! ----  but, I have met someone!http://www.smilieshq.com/smilies/love0031.gif Soooo.... ::)

Anyway, hopefully I can post more often.
Love
Lisabelle  :)

Wow, Lisbelle so much has happened in your life.  I'm so sorry to hear about you and your hubby.  It's funny how life works sometimes but as long as we remain strong and positive, you'll always come out okay through it all.  And it seems you have...a new guy?...good for you! :)

You racked up at that garage sale!  The combs and hairsticks sound lovely! :D

It's funny that you mentioned joining a nun order.  I wondered at times if I would do that if something ever happened to my husband.

Take care and I'm glad to see you back and feeling better.  (((hugs)))

But there seems to be someone new in your life?? Ohhh, we must know more!  ;)

Hi Ladies,

I know life changes and for the better! ;)  Nothing lasts forever, except good friends 8-)
Angel you wanted to hear about the new man in my life.  He's a big sweetheart and I mean big!  He's quite tall with long dirty blonde hair (down to his collar) and devlish hazel eyes. He's younger then me and I don't mind a bit! ;)  He's loving and caring and not afraid to stand up for me.  He's Irish and has a adorable accent :D He can tell a story like no one else and sing too! :) 8-)

Today I need to wash my hair.  It's been hot lately and I need to do my claify.    I also have to go shopping for my food today. I have a henna gig on the weekend and that will rake me in some bucks. Plus having fun with a room fun of ladies is way overdue I think!  There will be no booze as this group is Muslim, but they sure know how to party thought!  I got to get my burka out of the cleaners, though not all the ladies will be wearing them, it is traditonal that the henna artist wears it at the party.  And yes its the full one, only my eyes show. What I do is wear black eyer all around my eyes inside and out.  It looks sexy and wild as my eyes are blue! :)

Anyway I must go.
Talk to yall later!
Lisabelle :)

p.s. I will try to take some picks of the new hair toys 8-)

Dear Hair Diary,

Had fun last night with my new beau. 8-)  The humid weather made my hair so nice and curly.  He loves my hair btw ;)  And he is very gental with it, no pulling or grabbing! ;) He cannot wait to see how long I can get it.  :)

Oh here the pic of the hair toys!

I washed yesterday and put in my frizz ease and a little drop of emu oil.  Then when it was dry I hit it with Chanel No. 5 hair purfume - it is alcohol free btw! ( and bloody expensive at 58 bucks!)

Anyway I am off! 8-)

Today I will have a facial and do my nails.

On the ex-husband front....

He bought me my own computer!  I thought that was nice of him.  So now I have two. My laptop and this one. (funny how they get genrous when your no longer sleeping with them... :-?)

Lisabelle, so much has happened since I was in AZ!  I'm sorry to just be finding out about the end of your marriage.  I'm happy to find out about your new relationship!!!  I'd never have the confidence to do a bridal party in henna!  I hope they're very generous to you!!!

How long your hair is now!!!  It seems to me to have grown sooo fast, lucky!!!!

Sakina, life changes so fast!  I am happier now then I have been in years!  The freedom is increiable!  Yes the new man is a sweetheart and younger too! 8-)
The Henna party was fun!  I arrived in my black burka and was giving lots to eat!  Then I sat on the floor infront of the bride and worked on her for 2 hours!
While the women whipped it upBelly dancing and singing!  In all that time she did not move a inch!  Thankfully I brought a pillow and some aspirins as my bum and back were on fire!!  I wanted to take a pic of the henna when I was done but told it was in bad taste to do so ;( Oh well! ;)

Dear Hair Diary,

I've been looking at the Mixed Chick line and have been drooling!  I would love to try it as I am a mixed chick myself! (part African American!) :)  I was at the sight and watched the video on how the girl put the leave in in her hair and she showed how to put curly hair to bed.  I tried it plus a cap and my hair is nice and curly not flat! :D

My J loves to play with my hair.  He is very gental, and has braided it for me!  He's good at doing the LOTR twist ;) I gave him the Legoilas braids on the side of his head and loved them!    He's been using Jason shampoo I got him and he likes it, I got him the Biotin one and he uses the condish too!  I got him to stop blow drying his hair, which saves times as he goes to work early ;) He got such thick drity blonde hair.  I did a S&D on him one night and cleaned up the ends nicely.  Gee it great to have a guy with hair! :)

Anyway I am off
Lisa :)

I would've never guessed, but sometimes it's like that. My paternal grandfather was mixed and was very light (he could've passed for white or jewish) with blue gray eyes.  However, my maternal grandfather was also mixed but he was really dark yet, he had hazel eyes like mine....go figure. ::)

Awww! Thank you Sweetie!  I love you too! :-* ;)  When I was in highschool there was a girl, who,  every moring braid my hair in homeroom.  She was very fast too!  Her braids lasted all day ;)  If she was not in school that day I would go to the "Sisters Only" washroom next to the boiler room and get my hair done. :)  I have had some exotic braids done by those girls, they would also, for the price of a cigarette or two put in beads and decorations.  It was a fun way to cut class! ;D  I would also do nails there as well eyebrows for the girls.  It was our little beauty shop!  Ahhhh the memories..... ;)

Dear Hair Diary,

I have found the best ever coconut oil!  It called Parachute and is food grade.  It is amazing!  It is not gross or greazy and leaves hair and skin smooth yet neroushed!!
http://www.ishopindian.com/shop/parachute-coconut-oil-pr-22539.html I got it at my local East Indian shop 2 dollars for a 200 ml bottle.  This is a must try! It is also good to put on

I did some henna lastnight :)  It is in a Irish/Celtic knot patttern.  I shall post the pics soon!

The ex is off to Marinland with his neice so I have the day with J.  I made him an awesome picknick lunch of Indian foods including samosas, chunteys and fruit along with tea and drinks (soo romantic!) I am going to wear my sari and sandels. Were going to a place in the country about and hour away ;)

See ya's

Your story reminded me of something that I hadn't thought about in years.  When I was in middle school, there was a girl in my homeroom class with hair that was probably tailbone length.  She wasn't popular and kids used to tease her.  She was sort of an odd ball with braces, scrawny, and her hair was always really tangled, but if you got to know her she was super sweet.  Anyway, I befriended her and would do her a favor every morning by detangling and plaiting her hair in a single braid.  She was really grateful and I'd made a friend that year that I otherwise wouldn't have.

Dear Hair Dairy,

My hair has been behaving its very well dispite the humid weather.  Lastnight I put in some coconut oil (with J's help!!! The first time a man wanted to help me with this!)  I washed it out in the morning then added frizz ease and curl shaper.  Then towel blotted and put in tubin twister.  When we went out I took it out and let it down and just added a claw clip to keep it out of my eyes.  It looks so good! 8-)

On friday we went to a new midevil fair in another town.  I wore my ren fest outfit and J wore a poets shirt, pants, boot and a hat...he looked sooo handsome !!  We had a great time and I got to hold a Red Tail Hawk!  It was sooo beautiful!!!

Today we went to the mall and I looked for Mixed Chicks hair stuff at the ethnic hair shop.  They did not have it sadly, but the lady said she would look into it for me ;) I slso checked another health food store for Jason Hemo shampoo with no luck, oh well

Anyway I am off!
Love
Lisa

I'm at the point where I'm taking several showers a day as well...although that isn't really good because we still need to conserve water here.

Dear Hair Diary,

Well I am getting myself a Job!  I need to move out and have my own space.  It going to be hard but I know people and should be okay.  I would not move in with J as that would be taking things way too fast (and he has roommates)  I just want to enjoy my time with him not take it as seroiusly as what I have been doing for 20 years. This girl wants to relax had some fun! 8-)

bye for now
Love
Lisa :)

I know exactly what you mean.  3 years after my husband I began dating we... well...I, was ready to break up, and at the time, I felt exactly the same way as you do now.  Serious relationships require so much work.  So you definitely don't want to move back into that right away.

Relax and have your fun, you deserve it! :D

Ok, I couldn't wait for the 5th so I used them today!!  I'm very pleased with the results!  I like the way the shampoo lathers and gently cleans.   The deep conditioner is good, too!  I could feel the frizzyness being kept away.  As strange as that sounds, but I could feel a different kind of slipperyness when I rinsed out the deep conditioner.
I never used a leave in conditioner before so I wasn't sure if I put enough in.  My hair turned out ok,but the next time I wash I'll make sure to section my hair into 4 sections and distribute and scrunch my hair instead of just leaving it to air drywehn I use  the leavin in conditioner. All in all I'd give it a thumbs up!

Dear Hair Dairy,

Been a busy bee lately...so much so I hurt a tendon in my left leg. Owe!!! I took a T3 but its not helping as much as I wish it did. :P

I talked to J via the web yesterday.  He's doing well and misses me alot ;)  He got his hair cut! Ah its now 1 1/2 inches long...Oh well it will grow.... ::)

Had some retail therapy today. 8-)  Went the the East Indian supermakert and got some incense, rose water, face cream (for skin lightening), my favorite soaps from india and I found a Vitika hair oil that does not contain minreal oil in it!  Bonus!!  Its Vatika enriched Coconut hair oil with coconut oil, henna, amla and lemon plus a host of other indan herbs.  I have it in my hair now, I did a nice scalp massage after I scriched it.    I  found it to feel light on my head hence no mineral oil! :)  It smells lighty of lemons and seems to be soaking in very well.  I also got Amla powder and Shikakai powder.  I am going to give them a try on my wash days and see how they go.  Maybe the Amla will darken my greys :)    I love this store as everything is very resonable in the prices.  Plus indian ice cream is heavenly!!

The ex is behaving well, which is good.  So no worries or fights there (thank god).

I find solicate in doing my hiar at night.  It helps to calm me and makes me feel beautiful.  I am so happy I found this site.;)

Love
Lisa :)

Ah the amla worked like a dream!  My hair is fuller and nice and soft with out killing the curls and it nixed my greys!!!!!  I did what they said on The henna page and mix powder with hot water and let it stand for 15 mins.  But I left it in for 45 mins.  One thing make sure you get every lump out when mixing!!  Or else you will be picking them out for a while. ;D

Anyway I see J on internet webcam on saturday!!! Wooo cannot wait!! :D  I borrowed the cam from a friend....wonder what I should wear? 8-)

Dear Hair Diary,
It’s been a while since I posted.  Been hard at work trying to find a job and keeping out of the ex’s way.  There may be a new man in my life so stay tune....:)

On the hair front I have tried Ramion leave in conditioner.  It moisturises but makes my curls a little flat.  My hair was getting dry from over use of ACV. Also due to the hot weather I have not been doing my heat cap treatments.  I got a bottle of Jason hairspray today!  Can’t wait to try it.  I also got some Giovanni Frizz be Gone and some Jason body wash, all these things were on cheap at the health food store!   I also got some neat hair toys as well – pic to come once I can figure out how to put them on my new lap top!! ( hey, where’s the A drive? Lol!!!) 

I am on my biotin again; I was able to find them at a better price 
Also taking Omega-3 as well.   Got royally bitten my misquotes last night.  My legs are all swollen   I’ve been putting on cortzone cream like it’s going out of style.

Anyway I am off
Love
Lisa

I don't know if you have a Walgreens where you are but if you do, perhaps you can check them out.  I get my Biotin there and they usually have a buy 1 get 1 free special on them.

Take Care!

Dear Hair Diary,

Was out yesterday pounding the pavement yet again!  I also stopped at the inidan mall and got some really nice burgandy and silver bangles!  I love them.  The hindu lady at the shop mesured my wrists and put them on me.  It was so much fun! 8-)  I got a full set for 20 bucks! They will alsp come in handy as they match my dress for my siser-in-laws wedding, yep I am going... :P :-/ I also went to the supermarket and picked up some powdered rose facial and fullers earth facial.

Well on the man front I do not have a new bo. The one I was thinking of seeing flaked out on me. :-/  Not to worry thought.

Right now I am on a heating pad as I sneezed lastnight and tossed my back out. :'(  I took a T3.  So today I am in bed with my laptop resting.

Dear Hair Diary,

Hair is happy and curly.  Did a oil treatment with Vitaka.  I should start my heat treatments very soon.  Note to self: get some cocnut milk!  I still have rave reviews for Jason Hairspray its like nothing I have ever used beofre and it holds the hair without the mess!  My back is better thank gods and my F!  ::)

The ex was an ass this weekend..he is very jealous of my new bo!!!  Hehhe!  His little cow of a girlfriend..20 years old with kids from many different guys amd pregnant once again, stood him up so he was acting bi-polar.  Hey its what he wanted, so he can suffer!

My new bo, F is a sweetie, and hamdsome too! Quite a loving and caring guy ;)  He makes me feel good and that's what I need now more then ever.  :)

Still working toward getting a job, hopefully will get one very soon :)

Dear Hair Diary,

Hair is looking lovely.  F bought me a spa package!  I get a Euro facial, Swedish maddage and manicure!  I always wanted a facial!!  He is so thoughtful!! Poor thing had day surgery yesterday, I stood with him and got him home.  The pain meds made him groggy and he tryed to fight them to keep awake as he did not want me to be alone. Awwwww!!!  I made him rest and he slept well.  I changed his bandages and he is still resting now :)

Ohh got some Giovanni direct leave-in conditoner...love it!!!  I put it on dry hair and it work wonders!!  Look like I am becoming a Giovanni fan!!

Love
Lisa :)

I still use their direct leave in, but now I use Aubrey Organics Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner because it provides more moisture for my super dry hair.

However, Giovanni's 50:50 moisture balanced shampoo and conditioner work well too. :)

Lisa,
I've been biting my tongue, and trying to keep my mouth shut so as not to offend you...because that's the last thing I want to do, believe me.  But I feel this burden, I guess that's the best way to describe it, to say this to you.

Honey, you've only recently seperated from your husband.  In fact, you're still living in the same house with him--and I understand why, believe me.  I just think it's too soon for you to even consider seeing other men.  Whatever the condition of your marriage when you split, your heart needs time to heal.  Take some time for yourself, LOTS of time, before you start dating again.

I realize you didn't ask for advice in matters of the heart.  But I just really felt the need to say those things to you.  *hugs*  Hope I didn't hurt your feelings.

Dear Hair Diary,

I got the job I was looking for! 8-) :D  I will be selling eye glasses at the SuperStore.  8-) ;) This job is a union job  with benifits and store discount, I start at $8.75 hr. ;)

Found a shop at the mall that sells Hairagami hair toys.  I got there bunmaker and love it! I had fun playing with it lastnight :)  I also got a hair fork with a rose on it. ;)  plan to keep my hair up for work for a professional look.  The SS supplies the uniform which is a bonus, I just need a nice pair of comfy shoes :) I managed to find Jason's Color enhancing shampoo for brown hair.  I will give it a go sometime this week.

My hair is not as curly but then again it is not as dry as it was before.  The curls are softy thanks to the Giovanni stuff.  I know we are in for a nasty winter and with taking the bus for work and all I need to get myself a nice hood or bonnet to protect my hair.  I will check out Simply Dressed. :)

Love
Lisa :)

I like how I can braid my hair and not have to put a tie on th end to hold it :)  Been trying some new make up. Rimmel Recover foundation and concealer, there good for tired looking skin like mine.  Also there new mascara"Glam Eyes" that has a flexable brush.  And I treated myself to a Clarins lipstick :)

Was thinking of my bunny today. :'( I miss the little guy..I cannot bring my self to go to his burial site...it make me cry :'(

Otherwise all is calm and quite.  I got 12 tomatoes from my garden and made pesto from my basil :)

Dear Hair Dairy,

Washed my hair with the Jason colour shampoo again.  My hair love Jason products :)  The color is starting to get darker which is good! I found the only way to get my hair really curly is to put in a frizz products when it soaking wet, then I apply my Ojon, then a curl enhancer.  Wish i did not have to put on so much stuff. :P  I find the Giovanni makes my hair so soft that the curls dont last as long.  Still I will use it up.  Was so tired lastnight I fell asleep with my make up on!  First time in years! LOL!!  Happyily I did not wake up with swollen eyes! ;)  When I was a teen I use to get like that from using mabeline mascara.  But I am using Rimmel right now so no worries.:)

I am wondering if my hair has stopped growing?  The rest of my body hair is happily growing away. :P  Need to get my chin lazered!  Should make my spa appointment soon :)

I have to do a hairtoy inventory soon...there getting way out of hand! ;D  I really love the no-slip grip ones.  When I am at work I have no time to play with my hair so there a bonus.  Mind my shop is all mirrors so I get to check my hair as much as I want :)   you so vain...... hehhe!

Anyway I am off
Bye for now  ;)

That away they will be on the back of the bathroom door and you can see what they are! Should I get a patent? lol

Dear Hair Dairy,

I oiled my hair the other day with vitka and emu oil overnight and washed the next day using Giovanni.  Now my hair will not hold it curls :-/  I used Giovanni friss serum as well as my curl acitvator.  I think the Giovanni is not for my hair...it makes it too soft. So today I wahed with Jason color shampoo and used a little of the Giovanni cond.  plus John Freda's frizz serum and of course Ojon :)  Hiar still al little limp but mayorly soft...oh well back to Jason!

My allergies are driving me nuts!  I made some golden rod tea and it has helped alot.  I was blowing my nose so much it started to bled...sorry.     Been playing with my hairtoy collection, I added a clip with two silk roses and some circular goody clips from the dollar store.  As my hair is fine I have to make sure my hairtoys are lite, I bought a few once that I cannot use as they are very heavy. :-/

Life alone as been so so...my wedding anniverery went by the other day...I almost did not notice.... very ironic.

Well I am off to bed

I made some hair toys holders today!  I used strips of leather a little thicker then shoelaces and nailed them to the wall then clipped on the hairtoys I use - pic to follow.  Plus I made some floral hairclips out of ones that had elastics on them.  I glue gunned the flowers and feather to a naked fernch clip!

Hair measuring is coming up soon...hope my hair grew!

I tryed using Shikakai powder to wash my hair tonight. I mixed it with water and made a loose paste, put it on and left it for about 5 minutes.  I then rinses really well, and did my conditinor.  My hair loved it!  It made it feel very soft and my scalp clean but noit stripped.  I got it in my eyes and it hurt like hell...must remember to keep eyes closed..

I just got back from a nice night with my friends. :)  One of them is interested in renting a house with me!  We have to check around and see what is avaiable.  Over the weekend I found a really nice pair of rose hair clips.  There a nice pink with slovac crystels.:)

Dear Hair Diary,

Been working these last few days :)  Sold a lovely pair of Jlo eyeglasses, wouldn't mine a pair myself.  I get 50% off!  The optimalist noticed I needed a new script as I was squinting with my glasses one!  My feet are soo soar! ;D I just rubbed them with pepperment lotion...ahhhh!  I had my hair down at work, just front pulled back.  The weather has made it feel strange.  Its been hot and humid...yucky for curly hair. :P

These last few days I have also been staying with friends.  I just needed to get away from hubby.  I returned to a clean house and a vase of roses!  He missed me and has been feeling sick ever since I left three days ago.  He wants to give our realationship a chance which is good.  I got my own bank account now and am feeling very confendent.

Anyway I am off! :)

It's good that you had a chance to get away for awhile and it was sweet what your ex hubby did for you.  Hopefully, whatever decision you make on the matter should be the one that works best for you

It's also good that you took the steps that you needed to take to gain personal confidence.

Hi La Diosa :)  Thanks so much sweetie!  I am very picky with my hair toys and am alway on the loo out for something unique.  There is a store in the next town that has a lot of awesome hair toys.  They have Chenel and Anna Sui.  It was there that I got the crystel rose in the picture. I am going to wear it for the wedding I have this weekend.

Pics will follow, neat to charge the battery on my camera.  I got my self a nice night creme.  I got Kiss my Face all night creme.  It was cheaper then the other stuff I use to use and is filled wth good oils and herbs.

Going to A's wedding this weekend with the ex.  I am going to eat, enjoy myself and dance with the best looking guys there! :D

I got stung by a Yellow Jack!  Little @#$&!  It hurt like hell! This time my whole arm is smarting!  I went by work and got some allergy pills off the pharamist.  So I feel a little stoned! ;D  Otherwise all is good so far.

Dear Hiar Diary,

I wore my hair half up half down for work lastnight.  I wore the crown clip.; :)  My boss has long red hair a little past shoulder length she was wearing a crystel bar clip.  I washed my hair yesterday, the night before I put in some Vitaka oil then washed with Jason colour shampoo in brown.  I really like it!  Though I have not found the color sealing conditinor in the stores yet.  I also found Jason has a curl line!  I think  I will as the lady at the health food store if she can order the set for me.  It has shampoo, conditioner and curl creme.  It too bas the Geovanni did not work for me.  It made my curls flat, oh well live and learn!

I found some really nice and wearable nose pins at the mall. Usually I have to take them out to sleep but these new ones are very comfortable.  I got a nice golden ball and will wear it to the wedding on the weekend.  Happyly my work allows nose pins and bindies...even henna! :)

Lastnight I got a little scared as the bee bite on my arm swelled up really big. I was at work and thankfully my long sleeves hide it from the customers. This morning the swealing has gone down, thank gods! I am going to get a stronger itch creme today.

Been getting lots of hair compliments lately. :) Was thinking of upping my dose of biotin, I take 50mcg a day.  I also must find a cheaper silica gel to take, the one I bought last time cost 20 bucks! They did not have the usuall brand I use to use.

The Kiss my Face night creme is working out good.  I like that you only need a tiny bit  and that the skin soaks it up with out feeling dry or overly greasey.  KMF also has shampoo...maybe I will check those out one day. I also created more purfumed oil for my hair.  I put in a few drops on my lenght before bed.

Anyway I am going back for more sleep.
Cheers!  :)
